Chapter Five

Josh's POV

I woke up early this morning hoping to see Allana but she wasn't there. Now that I think about it did she even come back last night? I just lied back down and fell asleep.

Allana's POV

I woke up at 5 am again. But I jumped down and started working again. I went to the small back one and started working on the horizontal log. After nailing that I climbed to and went to the old wood pile and grab the second biggest log. I picked it up and used a saw to make to broken part clean and even. I climbed up the main pole and nailed in the horizontal log. Once i finish i went down below where the extra sails were but they were also torn a little so I grabbed my sewing box from the closet and started sewing up the tears. Once i finished I climbed the poles and nailed them in with the special nail to keep it from tearing off. Once that was done I made a stand to put the boat on so i can see if there were any hole on the bottom. There was one so i took an old piece of wood and patched it. When i was done i went to check on josh but he was still sleeping, and he look peaceful so I started to walk way but when Josh's tail swung out and hit me and that fell on me. 'His tail is so heavy, probably 5 times heavier than the main log I carried on my shoulders two days ago' I thought I mange to escape his tail, went to the boat and climbed the main horizontal log and must of passed out there because I didn't remember anything after that.

Josh's POV

I woke up by hitting my head on the top of the cave. "Did I really grow that much?" I ask my self. I slither out of the cave, one to go find Allana, second to see how tall I was. I must have been around 30ft now I'm around 45ft. I checked the top of the cave to see if she was there but she wasn't. I than started to make my way to the broken boat. When I got there the boat wasn't too broken anymore and sitting on top of the tallest pole was...."Allana" i shout excited but she didnt move. I went closer to her and said "Allana wake up its me Josh" I poke her but she only moved when i poked her. I grab her by the wast and slithered away from the boat and brought her up to my face and poke her again but still nothing "Allana please wake up, your scaring me" I say worried. She still did nothing. My eyes started getting watery. I slithered to a meadow in the island and set her down. I then checked her body that was already uncover. I the lift the back of her shirt and saw scale marks cut deep in her back. and bleeding really bad, I backed up and began to cry. "Hey Allana Tell me your not died" I say crying and a tear fell on top of her but her didn't move.
