I can hear the screams as I throw up.

I pull myself out of the toilet and lean against the bath tub. David has literally been screaming and raging for an hour. It started this morning. I had no idea where we'd go but I didn't expect this. He keeps screaming about being hungry and I keep pretending that it's not getting to me.

I'm fucking terrified.

The sound of his screams and growls unnerves me. It took three yards of chains and a butt load of magic to keep him that way. The sleeping spell has officially began to stop working. I'm running out of ideas. I'm running out of patience. I'm running out of courage.

And I'm running out of options.

I flush the toilet and push myself off the bath tub. I walk to the door and open it to see David break the chains and rush towards Porter and Parker. I lift my hand lazily and he flies off his feet into the closet, breaking it inward.

"It's time to start thinking outside the box." I say slowly.

                                                                                ===================================

After enchanting chains, we lock him in the basement.

There are many discussions going on at the moment, none of them as productive as I need them to be. Penny keeps promising that things will be okay, Porter keeps running theories that won't work, Parker is out of his depth and Charlotte and Eva have taken Micah and Peyton out.

I keep taking deep breaths and fighting off the inevitable panic attacks. The display in the bathroom wasn't something I could hold.

I keep thinking about my babies. Having them inside me, through whatever magical means, made the idea of them realer. Porter is stumped, as is Penny. I don't have time to ponder the specifics. It doesn't matter.

I am pacing a whole in the living room. The thought has occurred to me that Frederick or Melody or even Portia could have the answer. I don't know if I trust Melody and Fred with this. And I have no clue where Portia is.

Next best thing.

I stop pacing at the sound of the doorbell. I nod to Parker and he heads out of the living room to answer the door.

"This probably isn't the best idea." Penny warns, "We have no clue if we can trust him."

"Which one?"

"Either. Though, to be fair, I trust the vampire more than—"

Max moves into the living room, closely followed by Parker and Finn. Max looks around the room cautiously before his eyes land on me. I look to Finn, who nods to me.

"So, what's so important that you summoned me? Two years of nothing and—" He stops just as quickly as he starts talking. His eyes snap to my stomach. After a few seconds, his eyes find mine, "The hell is going on?"

"We need your help." I say quickly, "And before you ask, yes, there are two people growing inside me."

"I just thought you got fat." He says with a pronounced smirk. I can see what's just behind his eyes, "Is that why we're so cloak and dagger?"

"It's David."

This pique's interest but he notices that I'm not exactly smiling.

"What's wrong with him?"
