Canton Everett Delaware III and Donna Noble

Canton was on a personal mission to find the Doctor. Then he had met Donna. He had felt she would lead him to the Doctor so he stuck around. He had been following her for two hours before he lost her. All of the sudden someone from behind said "Why are you following me?! Do you want my money because I don't have any, sunshine." Canton smiled and turned around. He liked this woman's attitude and admired her a little for it.

"I'm looking for a man called the Doctor."

"Why? What's he to you, an enemy?"

"He's... an old friend of mine. I need to find him."

"What's your name?"

"Canton Everett Delaware the third."

"Well that's a mouth full. No, he's never mentioned you."

Canton was getting frustrated. "Look do you know an Amy or Rory Pond?"

"No, who's that?"

"How about a Professor River Song?"

"Wait that name rings a bell just let me remember who that was. Professor River Song..."

Canton had had enough. He thrust his lips onto Donna's. He held her close putting his fingers in her hair as they kissed. He lingered for a few minutes, and then broke free leaving Donna breathless.

Donna's POV:

During the kiss Donna had gone blank. Now that it was over, her first reaction was to beat the living daylights out of him. Then she realized that she had liked it and wanted more. She decided to help if only for a chance to experience it again.

Canton's POV:

From the look on Donna's face he knew she wanted to kill him. "That's new." He thought. All of the sudden Donna's face softened like she was reliving a good dream. "Will you help me?"

"Yes I'll help you find the Doctor, Canton Everett Delaware the third." She said his name like it was the most beautiful word in the English language. He almost felt sorry that he was going to have to disappoint her.

"Lead the way." Donna led Canton to the Tardis. It took them awhile since Donna had walked in the opposite direction when she knew Canton started following her. When they got there Donna stepped inside but had him wait outside. The box looked a little different from when the last time he had seen it. A man came out of the box. He looked a little older than the Doctor but still looked hansom. Maybe this one even more. "Who are you?"

"I'm the Doctor."

"You don't look like him."

"Well you see I regenerate instead of die, so you must have met a different me. From my future most likely since I have no idea who you are except for what Donna told me."

"How is that possible?"

"Wibbly wobbly... timey wimey ... stuff. It's complicated. But first how do I know that you're not against me? Don't tell me anything about our previous adventure. No spoilers now. I still have that to come. But why and how can I trust you?"

"We'll I know a woman named Professor River Song who I know is close to and..."

"Okay I trust you, don't tell me any more. Now why do you need me?" Canton explained why he needed him. After he was done the Doctor went back to the Tardis to get what he needed.

"You know you could travel with us. See all of space and time," Donna offered.

"Donna listen I need to tell you something and I'm sorry."

"What?"

"That kiss, I only did it so I could get your help, it meant nothing. I'm sorry if it did for you. The thing is, I'm in love with someone else, so it wouldn't work at all." Whack* Donna slapped him in the as hard as she could.

"That'll show you not to go kissing people you have no means of loving back." With that she stomped back into the Tardis passing the Doctor as she did.

"What's wrong with her?"

"Long story Doctor, and sorry. Thanks for the stuff."

"Okay, you're welcome."

Later on the Doctor and Donna say goodbye to Canton. "I'll tell you what Canton Everett Delaware the third, the woman you're in love with, she is one lucky girl." Donna said right before Canton turned to leave.

"Yes, HE is." And with that Canton left leaving the Doctor and Donna speechless for a few seconds before the door shut, the Doctor when over to the console, and yelled "Allons-y!" starting a new adventure for the Doctor and Donna.
