It's been a few days later of what happened. Cam came back but I still don't talk to him. And today was Thursday I had to go to school. Well at least Mark will be there. I've gotten really close with everyone from the new and old Magcon. I text Mark telling him that I'm walking to school today since it was a 8 min walking distance.
Mark POV
YOU ARE WORTHLESS my mom's boyfriend yells at me. Then starts kicking me in the back and punched me. He knew I had a disadvantage since I broke my leg. So he has been beating me extra hard lately. After my daily beating I feel so soar. I can't miss school today because I need to protect Kaycee.
Kaycee POV
Mark! Hey! Oh hey darling. Are you okay Mark you don't look so good? Yeah I'm fine he says but I know he isn't fine some thing is wrong. Hey Mark what's happening I know you're not fine cut the crap and tell me Mark. You were always there for me now I'm gonna be here for you.
Mark POV
Well it's nothing really it is just I got a real bad beating today... A tear slips from my eyes. Kaycee sees it and wipes it away. Mark we need to promise that we can tell each other anything. And we will go through thick and thin together. Then Kaycee hugs me I yelp in pain from all my cuts and bruises.
Kaycee POV
I feel so bad for Mark. He doesn't deserve any of the things that happen to him.
