Warmth (Kageyama Tobio x Reader)

Kageyama looked around the corridors, for a certain (Hair Colour) haired person. He recalls what Tsukishima told him, and he sprints even faster, sweat falling down his face.

"I heard Hinata was confessing to (Last Name) somewhere." He said, trying to contain his laughter. Kageyama gave him a look, and Tsukishima gave him a devilish grin. "Better go find them before its to late, King~" Kageyama's eye twitched. "S-SHUT UP!!!" The raven haired boy yelled, busting the gym doors open and running into the school and through the school hallways in search for you.

Kageyama finally found you, strolling along to nowhere in particular with your lunch. He grabbed you by the wrist, catching you off guard, making you drop your lunch, and sprints outdoors, dragging you along as you started to wonder what was going on. You started to run along with him, although you still didn't know where he was headed.

"Kageyama-kun, are you okay? You just grabbed my wrist and dragged me along without any reason... I wanted to eat my lunch." You pouted, and warmth crawled up to his face, resulting in a blush. He shook his head rapidly, and stopped running, and you ran into him, which caused him to fall backward, and the two of you crashed into the floor.

Kageyama felt a feeling he couldn't understand when he felt your warmth. He dismissed it, although he didn't want to. He wanted to cherish that feeling.

"Kageyama-kun?" You asked, holding you hand out to him. He hadn't realized you got up until the warmth he felt was gone. He got up, touching your hand, and the warmth was back. He gripped your hand harder to get up, and he stood up, and the warmth of your hand flowed into his. He cracked a ghost of a smile, and you grinned back, starting to walk.

"So... Uhm, (Last Name)..?" He called, and you turn around, facing him.

"Yeah, Kageyama-kun? What's up?" You responded, making eye contact with the setter. He then eyes your hand, which is still holding his. You widen your eyes, starting to pull away.

"Oh! Sorry, my bad--" You started, but Kageyama gripped your hand tightly, refusing to let go. Your face heated up, and you squeezed his hand, not saying anything.

"Wait, (Last Name), have you seen Hinata anywhere? Has he talked to you?" He gave you a serious look, but you just looked at him with a confused face. What? You thought, feeling unsure.

"Huh? What do you mean by that?" You inquired, and now he was the one with a puzzled look.

"Wait, what?" He asks, and the two of you are really confused.

"Hinata was practicing with you in the gym, wasn't he? You walked with him there, so I'm assuming he's still there..." You finished your sentence, and Kageyama's eyes widened, and he then facepalmed.. Really hard.

"stUPID TSUKISHIMA!!!!" He yelled, and you just laughed. His face had gone red, and he realized he forgot Hinata was practicing right next to him when Tsukishima told the lie.

Once you calmed down from laughing at how silly Kageyama looked making those faces, your eyes darted over to your hand, still linked to Kageyama's. You cracked a smile.

"(Last Name), what I really wanted to tell you, the reason I dragged you here..." He looked away from your face.

"Is that... I, erm..." He stuttered slightly. You lightly grabbed his chin with your other hand, turning his face toward yours, and you let go of his hand, only for you to lean in and kiss him. You felt him tense up under your touch, but after a bit he loosened up and kissed back. You finally pulled back, and grabbed his hand once again.

"I understand what you were trying to say, and I love you too... Tobio."You smiled, and he genuinely smiled back.
