The New Guy... Is My Best Friend's New Brother

I wake up like I do any other day except today's different, it's the first day of my 3rd year of high school. I go to East Hoke High in Raeford, NC. Today I have the same routine as every day but today I just can't seem to pick between my white crop top the says CA in the front with floral print in the letters or my beige crop top that says "And though she be but little, she is fierce"
-William Shakespeare. I know, I'll just FaceTime my friends and ask. Shit... I just forgot that my phone fell off of my windowsill yesterday, I'll just have to pick one. In the end I wore the Shakespeare shirt with my black high waisted shorts and my pair of black converse. Once I arrived at school I went to go find my friends, that I hadn't seen in 2 months, and catch up on what happened over the summer.

Once I went into the court yard I automatically saw Eric, Damian, Emily and Jasmine with a guy that instantly caught my attention, he had a chiseled jaw line with high cheek bone, plump lips, that all I could imagine doing was kissing, the prettiest brown eyes that I'd ever seen and the most gorgeous brownish/blackish hair ever it was swept perfectly to the side.... Just then I realized I was probably staring like a total idiot, when I finally looked up I saw Eric and Damian giving each other one of those bro hug things. You know when you do the hand grab then chest hug. Also Emily and Jasmine were now staring at me and whispering. When I finally looked at the tall handsome guy I realized that he more than likely saw me staring at him and was now laughing slightly to himself.

I walked over and pulled my BFs into a giant hug, suddenly I felt a hand pull me from my hug into the middle of a bigger hug I then looked up and realized it was Eric and Damian who pulled me away from my group of friends. Once we all finished the hug fest Jasmine finally introduced me to the new guy, "his name is Adam Wilde (Tyler Posey), my family just adopted him last week. The best part is he has all the same classes as you so you can show him around the school all day", I wasn't sure if I was going to like him because he kinda came of as the overly-confident guy who loves one night stands with girls and breaks their hearts. Not that I would ever fall in love with anyone because I know something that my friends should learn, love always leads to heartbreak whether it's cheating, the love disappearing or death.

I told the new gu- I mean Adam my name and offered him a polite hand shake, all he did was look at me like I was dumb then pulled me into a ginormous hug. Once he made sure no one could see he said, "Making you fall for me is going to be easier than I thought," for a quick second I thought how does he know me? then I became angry at his comment. How is he going to talk about me falling for him when I don't even know him... I could already tell I had a very long day ahead of me.
