Mistakes from the past

Dream (Y/n)'s POV
I opened my eyes to see I was at the foot of some stairs. I looked around to see the shadow was next to me. "Where are we?" I asked it, "Follow me."Was all it said. I did as I was told and followed the shadow.

We went down the stairs and the more we went down the warmer it got. "Where are you taking me?" I asked, the shadow didn't answer. We came to a stop, we were in a dungeon looking room. "Why are we here?" I asked trying to get an answer.

"Come." It ordered and moved forward. I sighed and followed. I then heard a woman's voice, "How are you doing?" She asked, I then saw a figure. I walked closer, I saw a woman and a man in chains.

The woman had beautiful silky black hair, she had blue diamond eyes and slightly pale skin. She wore a navy blue dress and looked old fashioned but very fancy. The man had golden colored hair with hazel eyes and slightly tanned skin. The man was in ripped clothing. He was attractive, and so was the woman.

I averted my gaze to the side and saw the shadow next to me. "Who are they?" I asked, "Shhh, just listen..." It fell silent, "I've been better." The man replied, the woman crouched down and touched the man's face. "I really wish I could of helped you Apollo."

The guy named Apollo chuckled. "Artemis, you and I both know, the moment I stepped out of that portal I wouldn't be the same." Artemis sighed sounding depressed, "I should've gone back for you! I shouldn't have left you!" Artemis said angrily

I blinked a few times trying to process everything. 'What does she mean!?' I wondered feeling extremely curious. "How is she?" Apollo asked, "She's doing good, look." Artemis pulled out a bracelet, a pain struck my chest.

I flinched and took a sharp breath. The pain faded, "What's this?" He asked examining the bracelet. "**** made it." The name of the person who made the bracelet was blurred out. 'Why couldn't I hear the name?'

Apollo smiled, "Here, let me put it on." Artemis suggested and did so. A pained expression fell over Apollo. "Ugh, Artemis get away from me." The man said barely able to spill the words. Artemis's eyes widen and stood there in shock. A giant wave of intense heat burst from Apollo.

Artemis was pushed back, I wasn't affected by the blast. I stared at the man with shock "What of hell?" I whispered to myself, Artemis rushed over to Apollo. She wrapped her arms around him. "I'm so sorry!" She cried out, Apollo slowly wrapped his arms around her.

       I felt a tear roll down my cheek. "Huh?" I questioned, "Tragic right?" The shadow asked, I turned to it. "Ever heard the story of how the sun loved the moon so much, he died every night to let her breathe."

       My eyes widen, 'Why do they look so familiar?' I asked myself, "Look at this last part." The shadow instructed, I nodded and turned my attention back to the two people.

        "Artemis,kill me already..." I gasp, Artemis shook her head. "I would never!" She yelled, "I don't want you or anyone to suffer because of me!" He yelled back, "But you would only cause more pain if you died!" She objected.

       "I'm only a burden, this curse is only getting worse. I don't want to hurt you or anyone." Apollo said trying to reason with Artemis. "No! I love you Apollo! Everyone else does too!" Artemis said then she took a deep breath.
