I grunted as I lifted my tray of used clothes. My brother, Baek-beom, is playing video games at the living room and he didn't even look at me as I slowly went down the stairs, leaning against the wall for support.

"Mind helping me here?" I panted. It's a Saturday and I'm in charge of the laundry which honestly sucks because when I do my job well, my brother won't. He's just one of the laziest person I've ever known.

Baek-beom grinned without looking away from the screen. "What time is it?" he asked as he frantically presses on the game console at hand. On the screen, I could see the zombies closing in on him and he aimlessly fired on them, sending blood and meat on the camera. I groaned when I reached the floor. I still have to go back upstairs and get my brother's tray.

"It's almost 8 am." I answered, wiping sweat on my neck. "Why?"

"Chanyeol will come around later." he answered, throwing me a smirk. "I'm sure he'll be more than happy to help you with your chores."

I gave him a disgusted glare. "What the hell?" I hissed. "You want him to help with these?! Where's your shame, brother?" I rolled my eyes in utter disbelief but before he could give me another stupid reply, Chanyeol's car came into notice, its silent purr arriving in front our apartment.

Pissed with his attitude, I grabbed a shirt from my tray and threw it to Baek-beom before running out of the door. I wasn't able to shower and I smell of sweat and dust. I suddenly feel really conscious about my present state and I desperately tried to fix my hair and straighten my shirt.

Chanyeol stepped out his car after a second. He's wearing white pull-over and ripped jeans. "Babe," he called when he saw me. "Good morning!" I walked down the stairs and to him, tiptoeing so I could give him a kiss on the lips. When I pulled back, I maintained a safe distance from him.

"I smell awful." I muttered. "I'm doing laundry today."

"Need some help?" Chanyeol immediately asked and he started to fold up the sleeve of his shirt.

I shook my head and gave him a smile. "The washing machine's doing fine." I said, gesturing to the apartment. "You could stay at the living room. Baek-beom's playing The Walking Dead. He would like it if you join him."

Chanyeol smiled instead, taking me by the waist and guiding me back to the apartment. Our family house is located too far from the university my brother and I are attending so we're forced to rent an apartment for now to save time and money. My boyfriend often comes to visit and my parents are glad someone's taking care of me when they're not around.
