Mike had arrived early so he could look around the pizzeria. He had wanted to see all the places that his cameras could see into, and those were the kitchen and a small mysterious room. He walked over to his office to put his stuff down, and saw a note on the surveillance tablet. The note read:
Dear Mike,
I have decided to give you an extra hand on your night shift. Her name is Avery, and she will be coming to help you. She might arrive a little bit late because of her day job, but she'll be there. Don't worry.
-Your Manager

Mike smiled at the note, happy that he would no longer be alone. But he still wondered how the girl would react to the animatronics coming to life and wandering the halls. He decided to think about that when she actually arrived. For now, he would look at the rooms. His first destination would be the kitchen, which he swept through quickly. There wasn't anything much. Just pots and pans and some grease stains. He walked out, looking at his watch as he did so. The time now read 11:47. Thats actually pretty good timing he thought to himself. He carefully made his way down a dark corridor in search for the hidden to, pulling out a flashlight along the way. His thoughts became filled with what layed ahead, the possible dangers he might face. He stopped when he heard a faint whisper.

"Mike..."

His head whipped around, looking for the source of the sound. He saw nothing except for the flashlight's beams bouncing off the empty walls.

"Help me Mike..."

He was getting more frightened every time the voice spoke. It seemed to rebound inside his skull, as if the voice we're his thoughts alone. No, he thought. It isn't my thoughts. His body hesitated when he tried to move forward, but his mind urged him to move on. His hand was about to touch the doorknob when he heard the voice speak again.

"Please Mike..."

Slowly and cautiously, the knob turned, and he walked inside.

(Avery's POV)
I had pulled into the nearly empty parking lot of the pizzeria, barren except for a small blue car, which she guessed belonged to the person she would be helping. The time was 1:58. She hurriedly walked over to the entrance to find it was unlocked. She ran the rest of the way into her office, placed her stuff down and went on to look for her partner. He found him nowhere. Instead, she found that one of the animatronics was missing from the stage. She walked up to the empty spot, examining it.

"Weird..." she said quietly to herself.

She jumped when she heard a voice behind her.

"Well, well, what do we have here?"

Slowly, Avery turned towards the mocking voice. She saw a man in a yellow suit with black triangle pins gleaming. He sported a black belt, long, black, mechanical legs, the screws holding them together clearly visible. A black bowtie was wrapped around his neck, which showed the articulated joints allowing it to move. His hair was a combination of blonde and black, a top hat completing the look. He held a microphone in his left hand, which he was now pointing at Avery.

"Seems like this girl doesn't know what she's doing. Should we show her what we do?"

She heard mechanical wirring as the two animatronics closed in around her. She was trapped, and there was nothing she could do.

"Wait! Don't hurt her!"

She craned her neck to see a boy running towards them. But upon closer inspection, she could see that there were cuts and slashes with wires jutting out from several places in his body. His left eye was black with a small white circle, looking like a small speck of dust was floating in the vastness of a black sky. The other animatronics whipped their heads around to look at the boy.

"What do you want kid?" spat one.

"Get out of here!" shrieked another.

The boy was hesitant, but he finally spoke.

"Please. Let me deal with her."
