Janjan put the phone down. He felt different. He sat beside her sleeping girlfriend and looked at her. Somewhat he loves her, but he's not happy. Mas masaya pa siya pag si Tin ang kausap.
Sa kabilang banda, nagbablush si Tin. Napahiya siya sa sarili dahil nagassume ito sa sinbi ng bestfriend kanina. She just didn't mind it. She slept and forgot about it.
"Hi hon. Gising ka na pala," Janjan asked Nikka as he went out of the bathroom
"Sorry about last night? I'm just tired kaya pati bestfriend mo pinagsselosan ko," pakumbaba ni Nikka
"Psssh. It's okay Hon.I understand. Maybe I should be the one saying sorry. Hindi dapat ako nagkuwento ng ganun about her. I forgot that you're not comfortable with it pala," tugon ng binata
"No. She's a nice girl and hindi tama na pinagseselosan ko ang isang taong wala naming kasalanan sa akin. She's your bestfriend dapat nirerespeto ko siya. Sorry hon," she said as she kissed him
"Okay. Let's go to the airport and we'll go home in Cebu.For sure they're excitd for your arrival," Janjan said
"Do you have something to do there Hon? Can we just stay here for long muna? Besides I want to meet your bestfriend too, can we?" Nikka asked
"Well I have work in Cebu. But if you want, we can stay here for a week lang. I can manage to do some sort of reports on my laptop naman eh," Janjan answered
"thanks Hon," Nikka said hugging her boyfriend
Janjan smiled. He can see his bestfriend.
Ding-dong-ding-dong
"I'll open it babe," Eco insisted
Eco opened the gate. He saw Janjan and his girlfriend
"Oh, I'm sorry. Maybe we'll just visit other day na lang," Janjan told Eco
"No, no, no.It's okay. Come in. I just arrived. Tin is cooking," Eco said smiling
"Tito, it's Tin's bestfriend and?," Eco screamed
"oh Nikka. My girlfriend, Nikka this is Eco, Tin's boyfriend" Janjan answered
"Hello, nice to meet you," Nikka lends her hand
"Nice to meet you too. Oh, sit there, I'll just call her," Eco said
"Thanks for doing these hon," Janjan told her girlfriend
"Don't mention it hon. Di ba dapat makilala ko din ang bestfriend mo at famous tennis player?, Nikka said as she laughs
"Oh bessy Hi!! Napadalaw kayo? Di ka man lang nagsabi. Kausap pa kita kagabi," Tin said
Nikka somehow felt uneasy although she's trying to hide it
"Oh, you must be Tin right? Sorry di na siyanagsabi. Knina lang kasi and ako talaga ang nagpumilit. want to meet you kasi, You know what, Jan is talking of you so much. So I decided na if I can meet din sana yung tennis player/ na bestfriend niya," Nikka uttered
"yes Tin. She really wants to meet you. Oh and Nikka pala, my girlfriend," tugon ng binata
"Oh. Have a seat. Sure. anything you want? Drinks or merienda? Manang pakibigyan naman po ang mga bisita," Tin screamed
"heto na, may ginagawa si Manang eh," banggit ni Eco na dala dala ang meryenda para sa bisita
"Thanks, but we're okay naman hehe," Nikka insisted
"So, how long have you been together? You look good as a couple.," Nikka asked Eco
Janjan felt weird. Bigla na lang nawala ang ngiti sa mukha niya
"Oh, matagal na din. Thank you. kayo din. Bagay na bagay kayo," Eco reacted
Tin is quiet. She feels awkward. She keeps asking herself why would this girl want to meet her? Para makilala ako or para makilala pinagseselosan niya?
"So Tin, nagkausap pala kayo ni Jan kagabi? Hon ba't di mo sinabi sa akin?" pagtatampong tanong nito
"Oh, I just said sorry lang kasi umalis ako bigla kahapon, and I thought it wouldn't matter to you. Besides tulog ka na kasi kagabi," Janjan defended
"Ano ka ba? I was just joking. Hon talaga. Naglalambing lang ako," Nikka said as she pinched his cheek
Tin is feeling awkward na talaga. She just held her boyfriend's hand. Eco was feeling somewhat wondering. He knew she's uncomfortable
"Ah, baka gusto niyo sumama the day after tomorrow? May outing kasi kami ni Tin with the family. I wonder if you want to join? Along with the othr friends?," pilit n iniba ni Eco ang usapan
"Oh, that's great! Sure we could, di ba hon?," Nikka requested
"huh? But?," Janjan said doubtedly
"It's okay if may lakad ka Janjan. I can understand," Tin uttered
"Meron ba hon? Sayang naman,"Nikka said
"No. It's just that. Don' you think it's too much Eco? Family affair yan eh," janjan recalled
"Okay lang pare. Besides friends ni Tin, family na din yun, di ba Babe?" tanong ni Eco sa kasintahan
