"I... I couldn't do it, Luke"

~Luke's POV~

I can't believe I actually did that.

I just did that.

Why on Earth did I do that?

She trusts me, but now it's all ruined. I should've known better than to just say it!

God damn it! I'm the worst best friend ever! I know she hates that name, and yet... I'm terrible.

Liz has always had some trouble trusting people, especially guys and parents, and now I just hurt her. I don't know if I'm allowed to tell you everything about her, but that story is definitely not mine to tell.

The last time I said her full name out loud, she got so mad at me that I didn't dare to come close to her for a few weeks.

I did tell her that I'd make her bed and cook her dinner and all, but yeah...

Elizabeth can be quite unpredictable.  So if I wake up tomorrow morning with a shaved head or something, she has gotten her revenge. And I must tell you I really love my hair.

I walk back into the room where One Direction -Oh. My. Goodness.- is sat, and I sigh deeply.

"Sorry lads, but seems as if I'll need to go home immediately. There's something wrong with Elizabeth, and if I don't get there soon enough, bad things will go down." I tell them.

Niall and Harry immediately look up and they have shocked expression written all over their faces. Silence falls over us, and Liam is the first one to break it.

"Alright, well then! We'll just arrange another meeting tomorrow, right guys?" everyone nods.

"I'd invite you over at my place, but we just bought the furniture, and as you heard, Liz isn't really good at putting things together, so.." I tell them.

"That's okay, Luke. We have to get home by eight anyway. Zayn and I have a date!" Louis exclaims while jumping up from the couch where he and Harry were sitting.

"Great! Then I'll see you tomorrow!" I rummage in my brown leather computer bag that's on the table and fish out a small card.

"Here's my card, you can call me anytime. There aren't any meetings scheduled, so you can come to the shop whenever you want to, but preferably around three. Thank you so much for coming to me for this, you don't know how much it means to me!" I shake each hand of the boys as we all make our way to the large doors that present the exit of the shop, their body guards standing in front of them.

"We'll see you tomorrow," Liam tells me when he shakes my hand and I smile. The next one in line is Niall. He gives me a small piece of paper.

"Here's my number. Let me know if Liz is okay, will ya? Nice meeting you, Luke." I'm slightly taken aback by his sincere care about Liz, and I smile at him gratefully. He's a great guy, and he cares about people he has never even met. He could be good for Liz's self-esteem. She needs someone like Niall in her life. Niall walks away and goes to stand next to Liam, who's talking to one of the body guards.

Next in line is Louis, who just pulls me in a hug and mutters that everything is going to be alright before letting go of me and walking over to Liam and Niall, where they all start to laugh at my shocked face.

Harry, so it seems, isn't really there with his thoughts. He grabs my hand softly and shakes it once, and then he runs of to Louis, only to ignore him when Louis tries to say something.

Zayn shakes my hand and says bye and he apologizes for Louis and his childish behavior.

"That's okay," I tell him. "I didn't exactly expect him to be the most normal of you guys, anyways."
