Shadow Scales (A Dragons Tale)

Chapter 2: Learning the basics

I look up at this dragon who I assume is my mom but she doesnt look like me. Shes not the right colors but yet shes caring for me I am about 5 years old now. Im slightly bigger and my scales still sparkle like morning stars. The chilly afternoon left me shivering and shaking. "mom can you make a fire i'm cold." his voice shakes and jitters as a cold breeze blows over him and sends a cold chill up his spin as he waits for the fire. She replies with "you need to learn to do it yourself.  " I'm old i dont got much time so your gonna need to learn faster then others now let me start it but we will train in warmer weather cause you are weakened in the freezing tempreature you are a special dragon. The rarest breed known to humans.  Your flame is a purplish color and your fireballs will come out in that purplish color but this is extremly hard." Galaxy says as she smiles and yawns "rest now."  Shadow gets up and moves closer to the fire feeling the warm as it starts snowing and he tilts his head at a crystal white drop. Some land on his nose and he looks at it confused and wondering what is going on. He gets up running to galaxy and gently lays close to her to avoid the snow. when the snow touched him he felt stronger and diffrenter as he things. "i thought cold weakened me but her i am feeling stronger but yet cold this is strange" a loud noise is heard as he gets up running to it as it sounded like a noise of help.  He realize that its quite a distance away so he starts flapping his wings to fly but last only a few feet before he slams face first into a pile of snow as he shivers feeling his inside start warming him up.  "My flame is it growing?" He thinks "this warmness is like no other." he gets out shaking of his scales as the heat melts some of the snow on him. "Wooh this is amazing to feel." He roars as he catches some of the snow in his mouth. He quickly gets up and starts running towards the noise unknown of his surroundings. "What is this place what have i done to get this far?" He questions himself. He hears the cry as it closer and he looks at it and notice a small deer as his tummy growls and looks at it smiling.  He sees the deer is trapped in a trap as he lays ears back.  He approaches the caged animal and sees hes gonna need to melt the look but he didnt know how.  He tries but smoke only comes out* "awh come on!" he shouts as the deer gets frightened and closes its eyes thinking im gonna eat it.  "I got to get this cage broken."  He slams his body against it trying to break it as a net catches him as he looks up at his captures. Male Human says "We can sell this for big money and it will be eaten or killed but a great meal for the king wouldnt you think Mark?"  Mark replies "hell yea or maybe he'll just be a slave and whatever happens happens all i know is we'll be rich Adam. Adam replies back "lucky us he cant breath fire." Shadow growls at them and goes to bite the net but they grab a electric rod and electrocute shadow. Shadow lets out a yelp as he roars breathing a small flame big enough to get out of the thing and hurting the humans as he gets up and roars as the humans run away scared of the dragon.  Shadow goes over to the cage and breath on the lock as it freezes over and he hits it with his head breaking it.  The deer cowards to the back of the cage as shadow gets up and heads back in the blizzard as he cant see a thing and when he turns around he sees the deer running over to its mom or father. The blizzard batters and throws him around as he tries making it back
