Hi! This is my new book called Match Made In The Skate Park. The characters in this book will have a picture of whom they look like in the above. I will try my best to update very often but that cannot be promised.

Chapter 1: Welcome To nb The Neighbourhood!

Naomi's P.O.V

MY FIRST WEEK OF school and it already sucked. Thank god it was Friday. I don't know if I could survive another day of this hell hole.

"See you tomorrow for our movie night Naomi. My turn this week so make sure you are at my house for eight sharp." Nathan tells me as I leave the school building. He also winks at me when I turn around.

Nathan has been my best friend since we were two years old and have been inseparable ever since. I remember people saying that we were secretly going out because the opposite sex couldn't be best friends and all that nonsense but then again that was in primary school.

When we came to secondary, girls started to like Nathan and so he got a girl friend with one of the prettiest girls in school. I still remember her with her long blonde hair that was never knotty or greasy, always silky and smooth. She had sapphire blue eyes that stood out. Well...that is what everyone thought of her until people found out that she wore lots of make up and that without it, she looked ugly. Her eyes only stood out because she wore a lot of mascara and a bit of eyeliner. She had two girls following her everywhere(I either call them her sheep or her minions) thinking she was an idol even when they found out. Yet I was the  only one who knew who she was on the outside and the inside. This girl is called Chelsea Collins and she is the queen B in this school. Some are afraid of her, some look up to her and others hate her. I hate her. Nathan hates her. My friends hate her and unfortunately we are the only ones that hate her...

From what I have said you might think I like Nathan but I don't like him in that way at all. Just as best friends and that is the way it should stay. Nathan always wears a beanie to cover his brown hair. He has dark brown eyes and is one of the 'popular kids'. I don't mind it because sometimes my friends and I sit on their table. Only when Chelsea is eating in some fancy restaurant with her minions though.

The bell rings as I slam the door to my car and wait for Kelly and Elizabeth(a.k.a Liz) to arrive. Kelly and Liz have been my besties from the beginning of nursery and have been by my side through thick and thin. Liz has long,blonde/brown,wavy hair and blue eyes. Kelly has long black hair with some dark brown and hazel highlights. Then there leaves me, my hair is a bit longer than shoulder length and it is a chestnut brown. You could say that my hair is very curly but I do straighten it sometimes. I have hazel eyes and I wear glasses. We aren't the 'three stereotypical nerds' but we aren't the 'populars'. We are just normal.

To pass the time I put on the radio to capital and hum along to some songs. I watch the jocks run laps as their coach continually blows the whistle. Chelsea lead her sheep out of the school gates into her limo(did I mention her family became rich three years ago?) and Liz and Kelly open the door to my car laughing.

"What is so funny?" I ask them, curious to know.

"Nothing much, we just happened to see Mr Dickens trip over and then fall down the stairs in the science blocks." Mr Dickens is the fattest teacher in our school and as I try to picture it, I start laughing too.

"Okay, let me drive home and then you can tell me what happened today in both your lessons" unfortunately we are separated in most of our subjects except from Maths, Dance, Geography and Music.

They both sit in silence and look out of their window as I drive the rest of the way home.

I turn off the engine and open my door, grabbing my bag as I leave the car. I open the door with my new set of keys as I lost the other ones at home somewhere,to be jumped on by my golden retriever. I fall backwards, taking the girls down with me. By the time Oreo gets off me, (yes I named my dog Oreo but don't judge my undying love for Oreos) all of us are in fits of laughter....again.
