One way...or Another

Chapter 2: A quest???

"Quiet please," Professor Flitwick said clinking his glass, his head barely reaching over the table adorned in chicken, ham, mashed potatoes and much more. As the great hall quietened Professor McGonagall cleared her throat and began.

"Students as many of you have probably heard The Ministry of Magic has called truce with Camp Halfblood....in following this the camp has agreed to send its best warriors over here to England so that we can choose the best heroes to lead us in the quest to bring Pandora's pithos back....but we have to contribute some of our own heroes!! They will be bringing their Oracle with them to tell us who is to go on this quest!! Now for the time being you may go back to your studies and come to the entrance hall at 8 pm to meet them!!"

Harry turned to Ron,"Reckon we might get chosen??" Ron just shrugged and said," I didn't get a word she said." Hermione just smiled happily at him.

"Percy, wake up!!" a voice said urgently. Percy grunted and rolled over in his sleep. Annabeth sighed in frustration. She took out the reed pipes she had stolen from Grover and played a note.

"AAAGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!! RESCUE ME FROM HELL!!!" Percy screamed jumping up from bed. As he turned around he saw Annabeth glaring at him, her stormy grey eyes blazing. "You're late for the council meeting!" she said angrily. Percy took a while to register what she was talking about.

He cursed in Ancient Greek. Today was the day the entire camp was going to go to Hogwarts for the chosoing of the demigods and wizards (Percy still didn't believe they existed) who would go on the quest to retreive Pandora's Pithos!! And now he had just forgotten about it all and OVERSLEPT!! AGGHHHH he thought in his mind.

Percy grabbed a t-shirt and pulled it on over his head. His head was burning from the dream the night before. Percy grabbed a Coke that was on the table beside his bed and ran, drinking it after Annabeth.

When they arrived the entire council was gathered around the ping pong table. Clarisse shot him a glare for delaying the meeting. Percy was also surprised to see Thalia there. Looking at the shock on his face Thalia said, "Hunters may get chosen aswell you know," she said stiffly. Percy could see Leo sitting beside her gazing at her in admiration. Chiron cleared his throat as Percy went to sit beside

Connor Stoll.

"As I was saying we will be leaving this evening and due to some amazing technicalities done by Mr. Valdez we'll probably arrive there by evening tomorrow. Now I want to you to bring as little equipment as possible because tomorrow Rachel will tell who will be going on the quest. Meeting is adjourned." Percy sat in disbelief as all the others got up to leave.

"Come on Seaweed Brain!" Annabeth said walking over to him. "You woke me up for two seconds of hearing Chiron taking.?!! You are gonna pay for this Annabeth!!" he shouted lunging at her and grabbing her by the waist. As he leaned in to kiss her however Annabeth grabbed his shoulder, took hold of his knee and flipped him over. Percy groaned, raised his hands and said, " I give up"
