"Get off me Oreo!" I groaned as I tried to go back to sleep. I soon gave up and rolled out of bed to get ready for school. God I hate Monday's.
I put on an old black shirt with the Rolling Stones logo and a pair of white mini shorts. Then I tied up my converses, brushed a few knots out of my hair, and went to the kitchen to have breakfast.
After an avocado smothered pice of sourdough and a smoothie for breakfast, I slipped my MacBook and wallet into my bag and left home to walk to school.
I met Viv at the end of my street and together we walked towards the school, discussing the events of the weekend. On Sunday, she had taken missy, her cat to the vet for a checkup and they had found that she was unwell and may not have had much time to live. She was quite emotional, and so was I. I had always loved missy and whenever I went over to Viv's, missy was always the first that I went to find, other than Viv of course.
When we got to school, we made our way over to our tree and sat on the grass underneath it. The grass was dying because of the lack of sunlight but it was still comfortable enough to sit on. After about 25 minutes of discussing random and pointless things with the other people that sat under the tree, Josie arrived and joined us.
"I'm not late!" She exclaimed proudly.
"No" I said looking at my watch "you're, 2 minutes early!"
"Wow. I never thought it'd happen!" Said Viv.
"Me neither." Josie said sitting down with us.
As soon as she did the bell rang, signalling the beginning of first period.
"Goddamnit!" Josie groaned as she got off the ground. "What do we have?" She asked me.
"I have maths" I told her "I don't know what you have."
"Viv?" She asked hopefully.
"We have PE" she sighed.
"Yesss!" Josie threw a fist into the air.
We went our separate ways after a few "see you later"s and went off to class.
When I sat down in maths, I was greeted by Anthony. He was my friend in maths and science because without each other we would be complete loners.
"Hi" he said
"Hey." I replied
"I heard we had a sub." He told me, giving me a wink and a nudge.
"Really?" I asked
"Yeah. Bludge lesson here we come he said lifting his feet into the table and leaning back into his chair.
Seconds after he did however, the door slammed open and in marched mr Fume with huge strides. Anthony shot up in his chair as I took out my book and pencil case. Anthony had been right about having a substitute teacher, but unfortunately for us, mr fume was not a teacher that accepted bludge lessons. Mr Fume was a loud angry man that took teaching extremely seriously.
"Now!" He shouted "I hope you morons know algebra because you are about to undergo a year twelve practice test on it. a Any questions?"
One hand went up, and that hand belonged to Hannah. Hannah was like that one kid that always wanted to annoy the teacher by asking pointless questions. A lot of people found this quite entertaining but I found it annoying when the whole class was kept in for lunch after she drove the teacher mad.
"Why are we getting a year twelve test when we're only in year nine." She questioned.
"Well" mr Fume shouted, spit flying everywhere as he did "first of all it's a practice test and second of all, I like to push students to the limit of their abilities so that they can advance their skills faster than all the other dunderheads in their grade. Any other questions?"
Again, Hannah's hand went up "Why do you always yell?"
"What do you mean" he asked still loudly but obviously trying to prove he could be quieter.
"What I mean, is that whenever you talk, you yell"
"No I don't." He grumbled "anyway, does anyone other than Hannah have a question?"
Hannah's hand shot up.
"Other than Hannah"
Hannah's hand slowly wilted down.
"Alright then" mr Fume said, clapping his hands together "get started on the practice test in front of you. You need to finish the whole test before the end of this period. If you don't, then you will be having a lunch detention with me. Also I want absolute silence this lesson and I will be checking your books."
With that we all opened our test sheets and got to work.

Again, I'm really sorry this is such a late chapter but I went on camp again on the weekend on a scout leadership course and I can't bring any devices while I'm camping. (~_~;)

FantasyMim is a relatively average girl with two relatively average friends, Josie and Viv, but one day after school, they wind up in a not so average forest and find themselves in a not so average situation. This is not a hobbit fanfic!
