Harry's POV
Something was wrong with Alexa. Ever since we had returned from the café, she had seemed upset. Every time I had looked at her, she was zoned out, not paying any attention to Mr. Johnson.
I had originally thought her tears on the trip back to the studio had been from happiness from seeing whoever she had, but I hadn't seen her smile since rushing to her dressing room. When we finally ended for the day at around 8, I decided to wait for her to question her about it. Whether I liked it or not, I was beginning to care a little more than was acceptable for my attractive co-star. Had she really never kissed anyone? Where the men in her hometown blind and stupid?
I saw her exit her dressing room and jogged to catch her quickly moving form.
"Alexa!" She turned around, eyes wide. She had changed out of her dress into a pair of jeans and pink ruffled shirt and, of course, still looked amazing. It would be a ton easier to smash any feelings for her if she wasn't so perfect.
"Hey, Harry," she said when I reached her. Still no smile, I observed. We continued walking in silence.
"What happened in the café today?" I asked, opening the door for her. I saw her stiffen and immediately regretted my forward question.
"Nothing," I barely heard her answer.
"Um ok, then why are you so down?" I wasn't going to let this go so easily.
"I'm ok. Promise!" She smiled at me, but it didn't reach her eyes.
"Guys! Wait up!" Emma shouted from behind us. We both slowed to a stop.
"Hey, Em!" Alexa waved at the quickly approaching girl.
"Do you guys want to do something tomorrow, you know, since we're off?" Emma asked hopefully. I had to admit, spending more time with Alexa sounded wonderful to me, not that I could share that with anyone.
"Sure!" I gave a thumbs up.
"Where would we go?" Alexa asked pensively.
"You said you wanted to visit Venice Beach so we can start there." Emma reasoned. Alexa shrugged her shoulders.
"Ok. I'll meet you guys here at 11," Alexa continued on to her car. I wanted to shout for her to wait and that she had never answered me, but I didn't want to insight a scene in front of Emma.
So I watched her go, smiling to myself, knowing that I'd have all of tomorrow to get it out of her. And I'm not one to give up easily.

Alexa's POV
"Be quiet!" I shouted at the relentless banging that refused to let me sleep. I rolled over and pulled my pillow away from my face to look at my phone. It was only 7 in the morning! Who could possibly need me so early? Ok, so maybe it was only early in Alexaland.
I drug myself out of bed with a groan and stumbled to the door, unlatching all of the locks and wrenching the door open.
I was surprised to see a cheery Harry standing in front of me with a bag of McDonalds.
"Good morning! It took you long enough to open the door!" He walked past me and into the kitchen.
"Yes, Harry. Please come in," I told the empty hallway before closing the door and locking it back.
I followed Harry into the kitchen to see him unloading McDonalds onto my table.
"I probably should have told you this before, but I hate McDonalds," I nonchalantly mentioned on my way to the refrigerator. The hurt look on his face almost made me want to hug him and tell him that it was ok. It was too early in the morning for fighting my ignorant heart.
