Chapter 5: what if its true?

"Please can we go home now!" I whine gripping Alexa's arm like a child.

Shaking her head Alexa keeps on walking towards dark moons pack house . For days I've been begging, whining, sulking for the both of them too turn the car around and go home, but no they are too excited to find me my mate. I've tried everything in my power to persuade them but their not budging, not even for twenty dollars, like what the f, Ria always accepts me when there's money involved.

"Nuh ah, were literally right in front of the pack house. Now act like a woman not a child" Alexa says stopping and squaring my shoulders and wiping a my eyes with her thumbs. Looking me over Alexa smiles proudly and grins at her sister.

"That's because I am a child woman!" I groan rolling my eyes.

Chuckling Ria pats my shoulder and pushes her sister away slightly.

"Ignore her. just be yourself, we didn't come here for nothing" Ria smiles holding out her hand for a fist bump "come on, hit me" Ria grins.

Bumping fists I sigh and look towards the house.

"Fine, but if he's not here we're going home" I say seriously.

Ria and Alexa seem determined that my guys here. We've looked at five packs so far and it's a no go, thankfully I didn't have to do much I just basically stood behind Alexa and Ria while they chatted with the packs and when it came for time to looking around the packs I would latch onto their backs or hide away in the car. Lucky this pack is close to ours because when this is over and done with ,I, gonna Go and leap into my thick sheets! Even though I'm a wolf, I'm not all warm inside, it still gets freaking cold for me and I just wanna snuggle up and read.

"Ohh he'll be here...he has too" Alexa whispers the last part quietly to herself, but since I'm a werewolf I can hear through good hearing and I'm guessing Ria did by the way she sighs and try's to cover up her disappointment.

"Yeah" I say softly looking down at the dirt.

Grabbing one hand each they entwine it with theirs and we walk towards the pack house. I don't know the pack that much but I'm guessing it's a not so happy one. Everybody around here is like robots, people aren't playing around not even the pups, I saw when I first came in was a high in command guy maybe the beta or third talking down to a girl and boy and to say they were shitting their pants was an understatement. Luckily the alphas not here, I wouldn't want to meet the man that runs this place. The only reason we were granted permission was because of Michael, I'm not surprised though, only if Michael knew the real reason though. Since the alpha gave us permission to come on his land he gave us his beta to be in charge of us when we venture around this place. And holly hell is this place big! It's like three times the size of my pack and growing up I though my pack was gigantic!

"Welcome" the guy I saw before welcome, so he's the beta then. "Luna" he nods bowing at Alexa.

Nodding her head we all smile warmly at him,

"I'm beta Edward, alpha Damien is very sorry for his absence, he had to attend to some pack business, he hopes to catch youse just before youse go though" Edward says kindly.

Wow, this does actually doesn't look like the mean beta that growled at some teens before.

"I sure hope so, wouldn't it be rude of us if we didn't introduce ourselves properly" Alexa says smiling.

Looking at us Edward smiles before extending his hand.

"Edward, nice you meet you..."

Grabbing his hand I shake it gently and return his smile rather shyly,
