Jonas and I

3|| Meeting

It was Jonas. I wasn't sure how to react, but I wasn't a fan, so I just said "is this Mrs. Lincoln's class?"
"yeah, are you the new girl" he asked
"sure? if that's what you want to call me." I said with an annoyed tone in my voice.
"well no, I don't really know your name" he said kind of questioning my tone.
I ignored him and walked towards the teacher.
"Hello, Ava! said Mrs. Lincoln welcoming me in
"good morning" I replied
She greeted me to the class and told me where I sat. I walked toward my seat looking down. As I sat down, I looked up and saw Jonas sitting in front of me looking at me, expecting me to be freaking out that I met him. I don't really know why I came off a bit rude but I didn't know how else to act. Lord what am I going to say to Carly.

        Class was over and I made my way to my locker, some girl was standing in the way of my locker and I asked her them to move, she turned around and said excuse me.
She said hello and we hit off a great conversation, her name was Lila and we had art together next. We walked together and she greeted me to her other friends, Logan and Skyler. We all ate lunch together and they brought up Jonas.
"Ava, have you met Jonas?" asked Skyler.
"um no, not really met" I replied.
"Oh, do you think he's cute" Logan asked all giddy.
" Ha, he's not bad, but I'm not trying to get into that mess" I said being careful with my words.
Lila just laughed and said yeah I don't think he's that great either but Skyler and Logan are obsessed.
That afternoon when I got home I told mom everything, my mom and me are really close. That night as I took off my makeup and put on my glasses and laid in bed, I plugged in my phone and turned on my tv. Carly face timed me and asked how my first day went.
"I met a few friends, Lila, Skyler, and Logan." I replied while I was on the paused screen texting Lila.
Carly asked what I was doing and told her I was texting Lila. She sounded a bit shocked and jealous knowing I already met a few friends. When I went back to the screen she surprisingly didn't ask about Jonas. Which I wasn't really going to tell her about anyway. I actually found him pretty cute but I decided to keep that to my self.
Carly decided to end the FaceTime because Jonas went live.
I ended up downloading the app and made and account. I looked through the hashtag boys, and number one was Jonas, I clicked and fanned. He said thanks Ava for the fan. I died laughing because he has no clue that I'm the girl from school. I watched Jonas till he ended the broadcast. I found that I started to like him a little more. But I knew that I'd have to start talking to him at school. Even if I do I have to stay chill and not one of those weird fan girls. I ended up falling asleep with my phone on my chest.
