9||Movie?

The next morning I woke up at 10:30, to the smell of bacon and eggs! My mom makes the best bacon and eggs, but she doesn't make it often. She usually only makes when he has to tell me something. I walked downstairs to find my dad sitting down reading the paper drinking coffee. My mom turned around and said "Good Morning Ava, did you sleep well?"
"yeah" I said as I stretched not questioning her good mood.
As I sat down my mom passed me a glass of orange juice.
"So Ava what time is your friend coming over here" my dad asked
"Um I'm not quite sure, I think around one, but I will text her to make sure." I replied
"Okay, from what your moms told me she seems like a nice girl, and comes from a nice family." He said.
"Yeah she does." I said as I quickly ate my eggs.
"Your mother said that they adopted?" My dad asked
"Yeah a set of twins." I said nodding my head
"Your mom and I have been really thinking about adoption" he said as he grabbed my moms hand.
"Really, that'd be cool" I said getting excited
"Yeah, but don't get your hopes up. It would be a long process, and so your father and I are probably going to have to think about it more, but we're just wondering, you would be cool with that?" My mom asked
"Yeah that'd be awesome, to have a sibling, wait a younger sibling, right?" I asked as I put my dishes up
"Yes honey, probably around the age of 3" my dad said
"Oh okay that'd be really cool. I don't care, what ever y'all decide I'll be happy."
"Good" they both said as they hugged me.

I went upstairs and turned on my tv, as I sat in my bed and checked my phone. there was a text from Lila.
L: Hey I'm coming around 1:15
A: okay, just text me when your on your way, also if you want bring a bathing suit and we can swim.
*ends text*

I decided to start getting ready. I went into my bathroom and brushed my teeth, washed my face, and put on some light makeup.

I threw my hair into a messy bun and walked outside by the pool. I sat on the couch outside and decided to FaceTime Carly. She didn't answer, I did it again, and no answer. I FaceTimed her one last time and it said connecting....
it finally connected to a screen saying paused
"hey Carly?" I said
"what" she said with anger
"Carly are you that mad that you can't even show your face" I asked laughing
she went to screen and said "better?" with an attitude
"yeah actually it is" I said
"what do you want" She said
"Nothing really, just checking up, haven't talked in a while, how's life?" I asked ignoring last night and that she was mad
Carly gets mad a lot, and I always really ignore the fact that she is.
"Ava are you really going to act like last night never happened." She asked
"Look I'm sorry and you know meant nothing by it, I just didn't want to feel like you were going to use me to get to know him. So I
just thought it'd be a good idea to not tell you for now." I said as I walked around the pool
"well was it" She asked
"Okay you know I hate it when your mad at me. So you can be mad at me, but I've already said sorry so...." I said back
She didn't answer for awhile. "Ha yeah, sorry. I shouldn't be mad. I probably would have done the same thing" Carly replied
"So anyway, do you and Jonas have a thing or what" she asked
"Carly?" I said giving her a look
"You can tell me it's okay." She said
"Um well we're going out tonight I don't think that he thinks it's a date though so I can't really call it that, he's inviting a friend and so am I." I said nervously
"Dayumm get it! Good luck! Oh and when I come visit I better be meeting him" She said
"Ohh you will!" I replied laughing
We kept talking but later ended the call. I went back upstairs to get dressed.

I went upstairs a put on some leggings and a   t-shirt.

Later when Lila arrived around 1:20 we decided to make a small pizza for our lunch we later went for a swim since there wasn't that much to do. Lila and I put a picture on our snapchat story's saying

Lila and I swam for an hour, and later got out to grab a drink. I checked my phone and had a few messages from Jonas
J: Hey you still on for the movie?
J:what movie do you want to see?
J: I don't care but let's go around 6
A: hey Jonas, sorry I didn't answer I don't care but there are only two movies that show at 6.
J: Yeah I just checked looks likes its between The Boy or The choice

"Lila tonight for the movie do you wanna watch The boy or The Choice" I asked
"I don't do scary movies" Lila said shaking her head.
"Okay I'll tell Jonas that we're gonna watch The Choice" I said grabbing my phone

A: lol, Lila said that she hates scary movies so I guess that were watching The Choice
J: okay, that's fine with me.
A: okay good, and who are you inviting?
J: Oh yeah, I texted Nathan so he's going to meet us there
A: alrighty, see ya then, and after the movie it would be around like 9 or so if you want my mom can pick us up and you and Nathan can come over and swim if you want.                                                                      J: Okay sure sounds like fun!
