it was a nice spring after noon it was Friday and there was going to be a dance at school for the 6th graders*
" come on Brandon you gotta go with me!" yelled Danielle
" no dances bore me all you do is stand there what's the fun of that?" said a very annoyed Brandon
"come on its my first dance with a boy... not just any boy its Nick you mnow how much I like him please Brandon." she said
" look its your first dance with a boy and I don't wanna be in the way of you two... if Lucas wasn't out of town I would go but he is so sorry... just come over when your done ok?" Brandon said trying not to look at Danielle because he knew looking at her puppy dog face would make him go and well he just wasn't in the mood. " fine I guess bye Bran don see ya later. Danielle said she walked next door she lived between her two best friends Lucas and Brandon. they've known each others since they were in diapers, they grew up together, they were best friends, no more like brothers and sister. nick had asked her to go to the dance with him she hesitated but decided yes, she thought of what to wear. she glanced at her closet and saw her favorite button up shirt and it was colorful perfect for the spring time, she put some white capri and silver Toms, she decided to leave her hair natural but to add that spring feeling she put a few flowers. she decided to walk to school since it was only a block away, on her way there she thought if Nick really liked her or was he playing her? she saw Nick staring at her he was wearing a white button up shirt with jeans his blue eyes went great with his dirty blonde hair. " you look beautiful Danielle" he said " thanks you look handsome" Danielle said blushing. he took her hand and lead her to the dance hall, they danced, laughed and talked " hey im gonna run to the restroom: she said. Danielle was walking back in when she saw Nick... kissing another girl. she ran, ran all the way to Brandon's house, she climbed up his window " he lied Brandon he lied!" she cried " what happened!" Brandon said angrily. Danielle told him everything when his phone started ringing... it was Lucas. " answer it..."Danielle said " hey..." ' hey is Danielle there someone called me telling me what Nick did! trust me when I get back he's dead meat!" yelled Lucas " and I'll help you! do you wanna talk to her?" ' yes please..." " Lucas..." Danielle's voice cracked.
