it was the beginning of June and Liam was be heading to the marines, he spent everyday with Brandon and his parents, he even took Danielle and Lucas out. He would be stationed in Iraq after he was trained.
" I wish I could be here when your turn 15." Liam said sadly to Danielle. he was leaving exactly one week before her birthday
" its fine but im gonna miss you so much... say hi to Jonathan if you see him and to Selena." Danielle said hugging Liam and cried, both her older siblings were in the marines they were twins Jonathan the oldest by 15 minutes then Selena, they were identical twins.
" I promise." he said hugging her tighter and gave her a kiss on the top of her head and let her go.
" Lucas... buddy take care of Danielle and Brandon for me? "he said.
" Sir yes Sir, I promise be careful up there your the closest thing I have to an older brother Liam." Lucas said trying not to cry but he ran to Liam and hugged him and cried, it was hard for everybody but Lucas and Liam had a special bond.
" ill try." Liam's eyes were already watery.
" Brandon take care of mom and dad and these two." he pulled him into a hug and whispered" tell Danielle when I get back I wanna see you two madly in love with each other." he said smiling " Brandon I am going to miss you so much, I know its hard right now but it gets easier you have four amazing people here with you who love and care for you and one will be in Iraq loving and missing you everyday for the next four years." Liam cried when Brandon hugged him tighter and cried.
"Liam come back soon please be careful out there." Brandon said crying
" I cant promise anything but I can promise you one thing I will try my hardest." he grabbed Brandon tighter and they cried.
it was time for Brandon's parents to go drop Liam off at the airport were he would be flown from Dallas to California. Brandon dragged on the rest of the day, he was just crying so Lucas decided to go pick up some food and left Danielle to talk to Brandon since she had been through this already.
Danielle sat next to Brandon and grabbed his hand and held it in hers for a while. Then she got up and pulled him up to his room and she hugged him and said,
" look I know its hard its always hard but Brandon hes gonna be back soon," she got his face in her hands and whipped away a tear " Brandon me and Lucas and your parents and Liam love you so much. I love you Brandon I really do but I need you to be strong ok?" she said looking at him, before she could think she leaned in and kissed him, he was frozen at first but then he kissed her back and he hugged her tighter putting his hand on her waist and after a few minutes she pulled away. when Lucas walked in he saw Brandon smiling and Danielle's face was red so he sorta knew what happened," food anybody?" he said smiling.
