Heart Warming Hugs (calum hood x reader)

    As we left the pizza parlor Michael grabbed Melanies hand and walked faster. Calum grabbed my hand and I blushed. Then Michaels hood flew off and the group of girls that saw Melanie and Michael started screaming. "We need to go" Calum said to Michael. Calum stopped, grabbed my waist and picked me up. Michael did the same thing to Melanie, then they started running, Calum ran so fast that my hood yanked off, and my glasses fell to the floor and cracked on the concrete. The girls looked at me and started chasing us. Calum went the opposite way as Michael did, Calum got tired of holding me up so he threw me over his shoulder."Calum! I can run on my own, put me down." I yelled at him. "No can do love." He stated wanting me to give in on what he wanted but I quickly realized that I am independent.  I started peeling his fingers off my side "what are you doing?!" He yelled turning the corner "I told you that I don't need to be carried!" I said as he tightened his grip on my hip and fingers that had slipped under. "No I don't want to drop you!" He said pushing my hand away. After we lost the girls I was still on his shoulder. "Can you let me down now?" I asked wanting for him to loosen his grip. He set me down and looked me in the eyes, he then pulled me in for a hug. We waited at the car for Michael and Melanie. They eventually came back, Micheal had his arm around Melanie. Well that was a crazy experience.

    Michael and Melanie went off somewhere leaving me and Calum to get to know eachother a little more. "So what do you do on your free time?" Calum asked. I was daydreaming, completely unfocused, until Calum snapped me back into reality. "Uh, huh, wait what" I managed to spit out. Calum chuckled a little and scooted closer to me, not to close, just a little closer. "I asked what do you do on your free time?" he repeated as if I wasnt listening the first time he spoke, in which I totally wasnt daydreaming about his cozy hu- "(Y/N)!" Calum once again snapped me out of my thoughts about him, "sorry, uh, I like to skate, uh, read, and uhhhhh, OH I really like star gazing" I sounded like a total idiot, good going y/n. "Ah, well maybe we could skate or star gaze sometime" he chuckled. "Ya I guess" I smiled in return of his cliche humor.

Melanie and Michael finally returned after their long adventure, and they finally admitted their relationship. I was stoked because, to be quite honest Melanie and Michael make a really cute couple. Calum and Michael left soon after their return and I went back to pouring my thoughts onto Melanie. I couldnt help but smile at the thought of Calums cozy hugs. Hopefully if we go skating or star gazing I'll recieve one of those heart warming hugs.
