James felt very weird with these strange guys. His wife was in a special hospital and these guys were the ones who had taken her to that hospital. He had tried his best not to allow them to take her but the guy Seth was really dominating. He kept his hand on his shoulder and said that she would be alright.
"What happened to you, sir?" asked Marcus, after taking a sip of his tea.
Of course, they were James' guests, he had to serve them something.
"Um.. Nothing.. I am fine." said James, giving a fake smile.
"So," James continued,"you said that you are werewolves."
"Yep. We are. After all, you saw us changing back into our human forms."
James felt feverish. Yes, he had seen those three dogs intruding into his house who went straight into Albert's room, where poor Sandra was lying in a pool of blood and a ferocious looking dog was all over her. James didn't know how they managed to stop it, but all he could hear was loud thrashing and blood-curdling howls. Then after a few minutes he finds three bold and muscular humans standing in front of him.
"Sir?" said Tim, breaking James' trance.
"Uh...what?" James said, unknowingly.
"So, sir we need to talk about Albert and his...situation," said Marcus, "You know now that your younger son is a werewolf, which means that your ancestors had 'the gene' that of a werewolf."
"I've never heard of such a thing," said James, "I mean, it's...it's sort of supernatural."
"Believed to be supernatural." corrected Seth.
"Sir," said Professor Marcus, taking over, "I know it's a bit difficult to believe when there's no one in the family who's a werewolf, but sir this is the truth. Your son Albert is a shape shifter, a werewolf."
Your son Albert is a werewolf.
These words echoed in James mind again and again.
"So, we need to discuss something about Albert," said Marcus not bothering if James is listening or not, "It's essential to make him learn to control himself. If someone pisses him off, then...he could bite their head off. For this, it's important for him to-"
"What's happening dad?"
James turned around to see Albert. He had bite marks on his neck and his face was scarred. Of course it had been when he was in his wolf form.
"Who are these people?" asked Albert.
There was silence for a moment."Come Albert. Sit down." said Professor Marcus, politely.
"Here, take this." said Marcus, handing him an envelope.
Albert took it from Marcus with a confused look on his face.
He turned around the envelop and on it was a small crescent moon sticker. He took it off and read the letter."Dear Mr. Albert Wood," read Albert aloud, " We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at 'The Half-Moon Academy'. The new session will start on September 1. Extra details will be conveyed to you by Professor Marcus. Thank you.
Headmaster Aro Black."Albert looked up, waiting for someone to explain.
"The Half-Moon Academy?" asked Albert.
"Yes, this is a school for special children. For children like you, Mr. Albert." said Marcus."The point is, you're a werewolf Albert." said Seth, patting Albert's shoulder which made Albert flinch.
"No, I mean, I think you've made a mistake. I...can't be a-a werewolf."
"See those marks on your hands." said Tim.
Albert looked down and suddenly remembered something. He stood up in horror. His face was covered in sweat.
"Where's mum?" he asked.
"Don't worry, she's all right. It's good that you remember, now." said Seth.
"This school," continued Marcus, clearing his throat,"will teach you how to control yourself, history of werewolves, the threat other creatures are to us, and other inportant things a werewolf ought to know to survive on Earth. We'll send you a mail containing details where you'll get your school books and from where you need to board your train to our academy."
"But, where's this academy located?" asked James.
"That...sir, we can't tell anyone."
Tim, Seth and Marcus stood up and bid goodbye to James and Albert. Seth and Tim shook hands with Albert and wished him good luck. Albert felt dizzy and scared. He wasn't sure if it was a big hoax or just a silly dream. He just wanted to be back with his mother. How could he be a werewolf? He didn't understand.
Suddenly, he felt a warm arm wrapped around his shoulder. It was his father.
"What happened Albert?"
"Nothing, dad. It's just weird."
"What's weird?"
"Everything."
"Come on Al, I think it's time to show you something."
