Shadow's Return

The Awakening

           I woke up, but I was in a cell across from Caeleigh. I said, ''This again. Man battling Venjix, then sentinels, and getting struck by lightning in the same day sucks.''
     I behind me to see a sword that was black and had a white glow to it. I walked over to it and pulled it out of the ground.
    I sat on the bed and began to think. I saw glow of purple in front of me. She came forward and said, ''Hello Shadow how have you been?''

''Good and hello to you Bailey. How have you been?''

''Let's see I fought the West Spirit again, and lost so I'm stuck in here. I'm actually alright with that.''

''Someone like you who doesn't mind being locked up,'' I said.
   I got up ripped the bars off the wall and threw them. I walked out and saw my first problem. I saw four guards walking this way. I looked the other and saw an opening, and I ran for it.
   When I stopped running I saw that I was in a throne room. I saw a statue, and it was Neptune. I heard, ''Nice to see you again Shadow.''

''West spirit what are you doing with a statue of Neptune in your throne room?''

''This isn't a statue this is Neptune himself. After he destroyed Rex he was turned into a statue by him.''

''So in short terms he's been a statue ever since.''

''We have a winner, and ya know what the prize is?''

''Let me guess Neptune is gonna awake and try to destroy me.''

''There he goes again. Now it's time for your death. Oh Neptune honey time to wake up.''
    The statue began to crumble,and there stood Neptune with a trident in his hands. He said, ''Oh,boy does it feel good to be awake. Oh and what do we have here. A shadow user. The last time I saw one of you was when I killed Rex.''

''Shut it you bastard.''

''Oh doesn't he have a mouth. I better teach him a lesson about who he is talking to.'' He charged, and gutted me. I grabbed his fist and flipped him. He got back and used his trident. I dodged his first and second strike. He said, ''Bring out the prisoner.''
   The ceiling opened up,and a cage filled the space between us. A figure was in the cage. When she stood she turned around and had a surprised look on her face. I walked up to the cage and broke the bars off. I said, ''So this where you've been?''

''Shadow it's good to see you.''

''Good to see you to mom.''

''Shadow we can't win against the likes of him yet.''

''Then let's go. I'll fight him another time,'' I said.
   Before I knew it Neptune threw his trident, and I caught it. I looked at him and threw it right back. It impaled him in the chest. Then we ran for it. I saw that Caeleigh, Bailey, and Zach were out. I said, ''Let's go now.''
   Then we ran for it. Before we could out Neptune blocked the exit. I looked around to see the West spirit behind us. I said, ''This day can't get any worse.''

''Yes it can,'' Caeleigh said.

''Oh great two guards on either side. I hate to do this inside a closed space but if it's gonna get us out of here.''

''What is he talking about?''

''Crimson Dragon burst.''
     I was surrounded by a crimson red shell which destroyed the place around us.It started to crack, and I broke out. I turned around and we all flew out. Except for Caeleigh I had her get on my back to get her out. We landed a few feet away and I powered down. I said, ''Well that was fun.''

''Shadow what in the hell was that? We've never seen anything like it.''

''That was the crimson dragon burst. I only use it when I go against other dragon warriors, but this was an emergency so I decided to use it.''
