Shadow's Return

Next few Weeks

A/N: Little note this part will introduce new characters who Shadow meets. Now let's get to it.

(Shadow's P.O.V)
   After Anna had faded and this time I felt it she was really dead. I released the force field around the hut the others and entrance to the cave. I walked into the cave and got the cycle out of there. More monsters surrounded me.
  The others rushed down and fought them off, but the horde got stronger. One by one the others fell, and the monsters kept coming. The only ones who kept fighting was Elizabeth and Bailee, but I knew they wouldn't hold out much longer. Soon they fell to exhaustion. They got closer and closer, but when the first one got near he was vaporized on the spot. The rest backed away, but soon found themselves vaporized as well.
  I got the others into the hut and built on another part to put the rest who wouldn't fit. I said, ''They all fell for me, and I don't want to risk your lives for me. I'm sorry guys but I'm leaving for now. I'm not coming back for awhile.''
   I walked out of the hut and got on the cycle. I drove off not sure if I was coming back. I made my way to a waffle house and parked in the parking lot cause I was hungry. I grabbed some money out of nowhere and went inside.
  I noticed several people looking at my cycle, and I kept walking until I reached the counter to sit down. A waitress came over and said, ''What can I do for you sweetheart?''

''Yeah can I just have some bacon please.''

''Anything else.''

''Yeah and some sausage if you have any.'' She walked away and got my order.
   When she came back I got my food and started eating it. I was hungry and I finished my food in no time. The waitress came back over and gave me the check. I paid her the money and walked out getting back on the cycle.
   I drove off no monsters came near me and I started having visions of the day I went to area fifty one and killed those people for experimenting on dragons. I never forgave humans for that they experimented and tortured so many dragons. One of these days I won't protect them and I mean it. They'll die for that.
  I stopped when I reached the ruins of area fifty one. I smiled as it brought memories. I drove on through and found weapons that they had used to torture the dragons. I said, ''Damn those humans. Why do I even protect them anymore? What ever happens after Father Time I'm finished protecting them. They'll have to fend for themselves. They crossed the line when I found out about the dragons.''

''Shadow will you go into hiding?''

''No, after Father Time I'll attend school and if I find out about a bigger threat than him I'll tell them they'll have to do that one on their own.''

''What if they say sorry for that?''

''I'll think about it then.''I continued on and drove through in no time flat. I stopped and exited area fifty-one. I found a space ship just right outside of it. I smirked and got off the cycle. I walked to the space ship and checked it out. I walked through and found weapons. I also found a healing chamber and a woman was there healing up.
  When she stepped through a cloak appeared around her. She saw me and said, ''How long have you been standing there?''

''Long enough to know that you're a friendly one. What's your name?''

''Megan, and I'm a time traveler. I came from the future to tell you and you only that a war beyond Father Time is coming and the humans will perish.''

''Let them perish. They deserve it for experimenting on the dragons.''

''You don't mean that do you?''

''I do they crossed the line at experimenting on them. I'm finished protecting them. After Father Time whats coming to them they deserve it.'' I walked on, but Megan followed me out.
  I reached my cycle and got on. I said, ''Why are you following me?''
