The Choice (Discontinued)

Prologue

   Madelynn's POV

    "Hi guys I know I don't have a lot of followers or whatever you call them, but I really wanted to do a cover of a song by We The Kings called 'Check Yes Juliet' with my friends Michael and Luke" I say and I mentally cringe. I'm kind of scared of putting myself on the Internet because I'm scared that I don't sound good. But my four Aussie friends keep telling me I'm the greatest singer they've ever heard. Why not give it a try?

     Michael starts playing the guitar, and Luke is playing on his phone trying to be 'cool' whilst I'm in the middle just staring at the camera. Great start Madelynn. It's time to sing and I'm off like a spaceship.

Check yes Juliet are you with me rain is falling down on the sidewalk
I won't go until you come outside

Check yes Juliet kill the limbo I'll keep tossing rocks at your window
There's no turning back for us tonight.

    We finish the song and turn off the camera. "I really thought we sounded good!" Says a very excited Luke.

     "I thought so too, maybe we can do it again before Madelynn leaves for the X- Factor." Michael says.

     "I'm down for whatever" I state posting the video to YouTube.

3 weeks later

    "Guys come check this out!" I yell. Calum, Ashton, Luke, and Michael come piling in. (C.A.L.M intended)

     "What is it now?" Michael says very irritated.

       "I just thought you'd want to know that we have 300,000 views on our cover of Check Yes Juliet." I say smirking as I watch Luke and Michael's eyes light up.

       "Holy s.hit that's amazing!" Calum says.

        "I also have bad news" I say and everyone grunts. I bite my lip anxious to tell them.

          "Go on with it. I haven't got all day" Ashton says joking of course.

           "Well my mum wants me to be extra ready for the X-Factor so she's making me come back a week early." I say. They all look like they've seen ghosts.

           "You're not serious are you?" Michael asks. Unfortunately I wasn't joking, if I had gone back when I was supposed to I would have had one day to train.

            "I'm serious, but I leave tomorrow so let's make the best of it, yeah?" I ask not wanting to leave my best friends behind. We all agree and go get pizza and ice cream. After our run around town we decide to settle down and come home. We all watch a movie and go to bed. I can't fall asleep so I head to Michael's room knowing he's probably playing on his Xbox. I was correct.

          "What's up Madelynn" Michael asks knowing it was me, without looking up from his screen, from previous nights.

           "Can't sleep you know that" I reply.

            "Indeed I do" Michael gets up and turns off the Xbox crawling into his bed where I am already cuddled up in. "I love you Madelynn, I'm going to miss you so much." He then kisses my forehead.

             "I'm going to miss you too Kitten. I love you." I say mumbling the last part before falling asleep in Michael's arms.

              "I know you can't hear me, but I love you more than friends love each other. I'm hoping one day I'll call you mine" 'Mine? I had no idea he liked me that way' was the last thing I thought about before falling asleep.
