Jael: Are you here?

Shadows are growing.

Do you know

how they grow?

by drained light- that is so.

But there is in the edge a glow...

Light will begin its showing.

ETHAN: Of all the things of death to thee

To ponder thee exist but none I feel lonely

I sigh, I smile yet somewhat fly

To life yourself, to time too sly.

JAEL: Come to very far away.

The very edge of lovely day

And fear not, do not be afraid.

It is easy to forget

It is easy to regret,

It is hard to always be safe.....

ETHAN: If not this time, a border do hinder

How I'd come to thee and see you, fiddler

How a fiddle drew me

How a fiddle made my ears hear thee.

JAEL:

Then touch the web which binds the music,

And i shall wait to sing again.

Distance cannot part these words.

So in farewell, i bid thee.

ETHAN:

The sun shines and my eyes blink fast

A sky so deep, a sky so vast

I see it smile to me but fades like dust

So much to me, to love not lust

JAEL:

I found the rosebuds faded soft

The clouds clinging high aloft.

I glanced to you, but none sang.

Then your voice above all rang.

ETHAN:

Then my voice still had that glow

Yet I have to disagree, a definite no

I don't have a voice on air that flow

Neither it nor I on thorn will grow.

JAEL:

Then close your eyes, and see

Not what it is, but what it may be.

Let it go, let it go.

And the jewel it will show

ETHAN

Maybe yes, maybe no

Depends on how the fog do show

I crave, I'm low

I smile, I know

JAEL:

Shared are our quiet words

Gentler than the birds.

And beautiful to further bloom.

As lilies and roses grow with room.

ETHAN:

Down to earth's mighty embrace

A rose agrees, tie a lace

Spread a wing, such picturesque

Spread the other, such grotesque

JAEL:

The dark on one, the light on the other.

Shining as sister and brother.

Seas and music, yet waves of sound.

And words gathered all around.

ETHAN:

Of times to separate

It's successful, I'm desperate

How I wished no sea could part

How I wished no time could start

JAEL:

And that the same clouds would pass

That we would see them from the sash

That these skies were not of brass,

Nor the sands hid in this glass.

ETHAN:

Charcoal do burn but still lay down

Though time sweeps ash

My dreams not frown

You'll be there with me with tiaras and sash

JAEL:

What do you see from your window?

Is it laden with bitter ice?

Or is it bent with indifferent snow,

Or beaming from jubilant life?

ETHAN:

What you minds tells is it what I see

What your ears say is I am free

To you it slides

To mine it glides

JAEL:

I do see the wild birds in the sky

Messengers of music none can hear.

Like the wind none can ever see

But for it's effect, far and near

JAEL:

whilst i sit i ponder.

While i sing, i wonder.

Behind this glass

Is another.

ETHAN

A land where I grew old

Far to thee, a thousand fold

Yet a screen so vibrant, vivid and lustrous

I see thee words, I am so envious

JAEL:

If the sands of rabid time

Follow us along our lives,

But in these days we've shared a rhyme,

Sweet are those words of thine...

And so these balladeers did sing,

Softly, quietly, and strong.

Dancing as in an elven ring,

A beginning of a pristine song.
