We Need To Talk

"We need to talk." Mingyu looked at Yeri seriously.

Yeri,on the other hand is trying to avoid his eyes. She might fall again.

"Why do we need to talk?" Yeri asked.

Mingyu held her hand but she pulled it away. He looked down, sighing of regret and sadness.

"Mom...she forced me to marry Nara. I couldn't do anything about it. It was the only solution to save the company." Mingyu cried.

Yeri's heart softened,seeing the man she loves the most cry in pain.

'I should've let him explain'

She looked down. "I should have let you explain,Mingyu. I didn't know you were going through a hard time. I'm so--"

"You're not sorry. You shouldn't be. I am the one who broke us up. I still love you, Kim Yeri, and I am willing to fight for you." He said.

Yeri wanted to say yes. But she wants everything to go right for Mingyu and she doesn't want trouble. She doesn't want Mingyu to be an enemy to his mom.

And she thought of someone.

Yeri heaved a sigh. "I already love someone else. It would be better for us to move on and learn to find happiness in our lives."

Mingyu slammed the table. "You expect me to be happy without you?! Four years, Kim Yeri, you're going to give it up for that guy?!"

Tension filled the air. Luckily, they were in the private room of the café and no one can here them.

Yeri started to cry. "You think it was easy?! You broke up with me on our anniversary Kim Mingyu! I don't think you even noticed that!" She shouted in between sobs.

"That guy...he annoyed me since the day we dated. February 2,2012. My life became a mess at school because of him. But when you left me, he was the first person to comfort me. It's like as if he knew this would happen. We became close friends. And now I love him." She continued.

Mingyu gasped. He doesn't know anything about this.

"If that is what makes you happy, I will let go of you and live in peace. I will learn to find happiness in my life, even if you are its source. But I still want to be with you, as my friend." Mingyu asked.

"We will be,Mingyu. And I am sorry too. I will be going now." She said as she stood up and Mingyu hugged her and she hugged back.

"Can you tell me his name?" Mingyu asked her before she stepped out of the door.

She turned her head to him and look right in his eyes. "Jeon Wonwoo." And she left.

Little did she know, someone was watching her.
