Kassandra Rosemarie
Trouble From The Very Beginning
Kass was fed up with her brutal husband of 2 years. Dexter started to smack her, it happened the first time just a few days ago, and today was the second time.
The first time was according to him, because she walked in bedroom at an inappropriate time. Seeing as it was her room too, no time is inappropriate.
Maybe it was really because she saw his back in the light of day to see the scratch marks on it. She already knew he was cheating, their sex life had started getting lack luster and less often.
Today she caught him talking to some female he called princess, aka Silvia Chafee. Kass had already found out who this person was because she wanted to know the name of the person she'd be naming in her divorce as who he was cheating on her with.
Tomorrow she is planning to go to the bank and start working on separating their joint bank account. She had other accounts in just her name, but he had wanted one in both their names, so she had let him open one and she made one deposit a month into it, to help pay their living expenses. Yeah, he wanted to pay for everything, but she added the deposit to cover other things as well.
So the next morning, she left him in bed and dressed as if she was going to work. She ran around making changes to her life. Her stop at the bank, had the manager come out to see her.
He didn't like the bruised face she had, and she told him honestly that she was done with her marriage as he started being abusive. She admitted she already knew he was cheating and who with.
The manager was upset as he had been a dear friend of her parents. So with his help, she changed all her accounts, the joint account, they went over the withdrawals.
With fine details, she withdrew her funds and transferred them back over to her checking account. They calculated the expenses for the rest of the month, and she left in only half of all those expenses, plus half the rent.
With that done, she hugged and thanked him for helping and took her leave. Then she went home and found it empty, but he'd forgot his phone in his rush to get away.
She found his old phone, took out his new sim card and transferred them before she filled the kitchen sink with soapy water and moved his old phone on the edge where he'd left his other one.
She was in the middle of doing dishes, cleaning the kitchen as he messed it all up, uncaring she'd have to clean it up. He came home, walked in the kitchen. Her hands were soaking wet and slippery. Instead of him reaching for it himself, he demanded she hand it over.
So she grabbed it and fumbled as the soap on her hands made it slip out of her hand and drop into the sink full of dishes. She swore and dropped both hands in, messed about searching for it until she lifted it out and it slipped again, dropped to the floor and broke.
He screamed at her, raged then hit her one more time. He split her lip that time and she had it. She spun on him and with training, she punched him once in the chin and found it knocked him out cold.
She used her heal and stomped on his phone and made sure it would never be fixed. While she had the time, she finished packing her belongings and loaded her car. She kicked him again as he looked about to wake.
She packed everything she owned, leaving him was only fitting. As she was loading up her car, the neighbors came over, saw her bruised and bleeding face, then helped her finish loading up and said they'd see to her husband.
She shook their hands as they'd tried to hug her first but she winced and instead took her hand. She waved before driving away and went directly to her lawyer.
