Ashanti Tamika
Trouble From The Very Beginning
Ash looked up at the tall dark scruffy bearded man that moved in her way. She froze as he scared the life out of her. She moved back slowly and all he said was you're not getting away from me little girly.
Her life flashed before her eyes at what he could possibly mean. She took another step back before she heard him chuckle and say your coming with me now. You have no other options, only awake or knocked out cold.
Ash licked her dry lips and looked behind him as other men seemed to move out of the shadows. She gulped before she turned and ran for her life.
She screamed bloody loud as she moved through the empty and forgotten derelict buildings. With her heart pounding loudly in her ears she then went completely silent, she soon slipped through small passageways, through stuff piled as high as the ceiling in spots in a warehouse that was very close to her way back to her hopeful freedom.
She slid on the floor, twisted her foot somehow, and saw a hiding spot from the corner of her eye. She frantically crawled through small spaces, around objects until she put her back to the corner wall so no one could possibly see her.
She heard sounds, saw things in her imagination. She closed her eyes and covered her face by pulling up her top sweatshirt up and over it.
She heard sounds from up high, then curses as piles started shifting, crashing, causing more piles to overturn and topple. More curses heard as the tall man's voice yelled for the others to watch what the hell they were doing and find her unharmed.
So much noise as the room was filled with cursing men as they toppled piles, the piles crashed into others as the chaos they created soon made it impossible for Ash to see even her way out of the way she got to where she was.
Ash grinned because if she couldn't be seen, that meant they couldn't get to her either. Curses and grunts went on for some time until the tall man growled and said forget this room, we will go on to the next and so on. But we can't let her get away.
Over the next few hours as daylight was seen through cracked windows, they kept coming back time and again but never found her.
When it got dark, the tall man growled again, swore then said we'll come back when it's light again and search more. It's impossible to see anything in the dark.
Ash wasn't expecting them to just leave, so she stayed in her tiny covered up area, not moving an inch. She fell asleep and dreamed of freedom, of sitting on a sunny beach someday.
She woke up at the sounds of the tall man cussing up a storm as the chaos now seen they created in the warehouse made it impossible to search for her.
He ordered the men to swing from the rafters, search below to look for her. Ash was confident they couldn't see her, as she couldn't see the rafters at all from where she was. Things had fallen as they made a complete mess and it was apparent that no one would find her in her little hidden spot. She breathed through her sweatshirt as she closed her eyes again and fell back to sleep.
A full day later, Ash moved a little at a time as she'd heard no one since last night. She peeked up at the rafters above her when she could and saw one male sitting very quiet looking around, then spotted another and another, so she slowly and silently slid back.

Ash was once, the adopted daughter of a pack Beta couple. She had grown up not actually feeling much love from them. Over time, they seemed to change their minds of even keeping her.
Then one ordinary day she went home from school to find everyone had left. Her home she once lived in had been emptied, even her room and belongings all gone. Absolutely nothing was left behind.
