The Prisoner of Azkaban

So first up: my all time favorite Harry Potter book!

I honestly don't know just why it's my favorite. It's hard to give a reason, but it just kinda is. It's funny. It's fast paced. For the most part.

Lupin. He's awesome. He may not be as adventurous as Sirius, but he's still AWESOME. He literally started his first class by bringing everyone's worst fears to life. And then showing how to overcome them. And getting Snape in a granny costume was definitely a plus. Boggart Snape, but close enough.

But I would also like to acknowledge that Harry and Ron were jerks to Hermione for like half the book.

SHE HAS SAVED YOUR BUMS MORE TIMES THAN I THINK YOU CAN COUNT TO. SHOW HER SOME RESPECT. YOU TWO WOULD PROBABLY BE STUCK IN SOME GIANT SPIDER WEB IF IT WEREN'T FOR HER.

All time best part: Hermione punches Draco. I mean, he was a RACIST PRAT to her.

Apparently Emma Watson (Hermione actress) didn't know she was supposed to fake punch Tom (Draco actor). So Tom is like "we should probably practice the slapping scene to make sure we do it right" or something.

And Emma is like "are you sure?"

And Tom is like "yeah, sure. Go ahead and slap me." He was going more along the lines of a movie slap, but Emma didn't know. So she just goes and strikes him across the face.

And Tom is just like "uhh, yeah. That was good" before sheepishly walking away.

AND THAT MAKES THE PART LIKE TWENTY TIMES BETTER FOR ME.

Another cool thing was the Animangus. I'm incredibly sorry if I spelled that wrong. I'm the world's worst speller. Like, I DID NOT see Ron's rat being Peter. Then you go re-read the books and the number of hints dropped toward it. Ughhhh. It just make you go like "WHY was I so STUPID." Plus I love Sirius. He's awesome.

And Harry's blackmail in the ending about having a murdering, jail breakout as a godfather to the Dursleys was just priceless.
