"Noo! Get off me you stinky stupid men!" My sister Stacy pathetically yells swatting one of the security guards. I'm sorry but I couldn't help but laugh. Get off me you stinky stupid men? Haha, classic.

"Stacy, calm down!!" Mum yelled her face going red.

"Oh dear. Mum what now?" I asked biting into my chocolate bar I just brought from a vending machine.

She opened her mouth to speak but was stopped. We both were.

A heavy firm hand lay on my shoulders. I tried to snap my head around to see who it was but I was frozen  in shock and terror.

"Umm excuse me, Miss?" He asked mum as she pulled from his grip. I also pulled free and turned to see who it was.

A formal tall well built man in a black suit stood there. His bald head was glistening in the sunlight coming from the windows and looked like a boiled egg.

"Yes?" My mum snapped staring at him, she shocked him from the uptight tone in his voice.

"Um, er, um is- is-is this, ummm your errr-"

"Spit it out." She snarled half laughing. My mum was scary. Just imagine it, a short plump woman was straw hair, on crutches and wearing all black.

"Is this your family?" He asked quickly before mum had time to snap something at him.

"Why? And so what if it is?"

He frowned. I stared at him. He looked rather posh and precise. He was wearing a black and grey suit, with a pure white tie,  high heeled boots ( what the heck?) and a name tag that read 'Brandon Myers Head of Departure'.

I giggled  a bit at the high heel boots. He frowned again and stared at me, before spitting out these words, "Well I'm afraid to have to ask you to remove her or she will be removed."

"Ha." Mum laughed taking my chocolate bar from my hand and taking a big bite. Still chewing she replied with, We'll be leaving soon. In about," She stopped and glanced at her watch. "20 minutes. When the ferry leaves. "

He gulped. "I'm sorry but she has to leave now. Or else we will call the police, she's stressing out our other custumours. She won't be catching any ferries."

Mum chewed and looked as if she was thinking hard.

All of a sudden with no warning whatsoever she opened her mouth and yelled, "STACY. CALM THE HELL DOWN. OR ELSE THIS WEAK LITTLE MAN WILL KICK US OUT. WE WON'T GET ON THE FERRY."

"GOOOD!" She roared back. "I won't go. I refuse to leave!"

"Well, little miss!" Mum shouted dropping her crutches on the floor. I stood there open mouthed as she plodded towards Stacy who was now pushing a sercuity gaurd. "I'll shall half to stop you myself!" She lunged at Stacy's legs and pulled her to the ground. The sercuity gaurds instanatly jumped to their feet and tried to pull mum off Stacy. But they couldn't do it.

Me and dad stared astonished at her crutches on the floor.

"But but but. She just stopped using a wheelchair. She stills wants to use it!" Dad asked amazed.

"Somehow I think she was faking, dad." I said walking away.

Twenty minutes later I was standing on a ferry playfrom with dad, Devon and Hugo.

I stared down at mum and Stacy who were were waiting for a taxi outside. I gulped this was just to weird.

The ferry offices people refused to let Stacy on the boat. So mum had to stay with her. But they can't go back to the house becuase it's empty and up for sale. It's not ours anymore. They have no where to go. For the last 20 minutes dad's been franticaly trying to arrnage a later trip for them. So they could still get to our new home. But it wasn't often that the ferries went that far, and they would have to be shipped out later this year.

Holding Hugo I realized I would have to put up with half of a year without mum and Stacy. And me being the only girl I would be lumbered with the baby.

"Goodbye my baby!" Mum shouted at me. "Be good for your father and make sure your brother isn't too gobby." I suddenly realized I had to responsibility to be mum. I had to be a susbsitute mum until she arrived. And ofcourse having no way of comunicating with them once we were at the island, we wouldn't know when they were coming. If they ever came.

I sighed and took my place, Hugo sitting next to be in in pushchair.

Dad paced up and down the decks nervously.

"This wasn not meant to happen!" He moaned.

"Og god." Devon said sinking into the corner even more.

I burst out laughing. "Umm dad....?" I warned.

"What?" He sharply turned around just incase there was something behind him.

"You've been puked on!" I burst. I was almost falling of my chair with laughter.

"WHAT." He stared down at his legs. Yes Hugo at some point had puked on him. Don't know when, but dad started yelling ang ran into the bathroom.

"I hate this family.... This is ganna be a long journey..." Devon sighed.

It would be a long journey. Longer than I could imagine.
