I'll Take My Time with You - Eyeless Jack x Reader

"[Your Name]...[Your Name]...[Your Name]!" you flinched as you heard your best friend scream your name right into your ear. Her eyebrows furrowed together as she looked at you with a worried and concerned gaze. "Hey, you alright? You seem out of it" she said. You stared at her before peering down at the note in your hand. Shaking your head you crumbled the piece of paper up into a ball and shoved it down into your bag.

"Yeah, I'm alright. Just been thinking" you mumbled quietly as you straightened your bag and started to walk down the hall with your friend quickly following after you. The look of disbelief on her face made your shoulders tense as you turned your head to the side and coughed into your hand. "So, how are things going with you and that new boyfriend of yours?" you asked, quickly trying to change the subject. You watched as her face lit up in delight as she started to babble on about her latest relationship.

-Time Skip-

You tiredly blinked your eyes as you laid in bed, the only sound was the soft music playing from your phone as everything else in the room was turned off. Parents still at work plus home alone plus the strange notes you've been receiving as of late screamed the start of a horror movie or a strange romance movie. You twisted around in your bed 'til you fell onto the floor and from there you crawled over to your book bag and rummaged through its contents. Soon you pulled out that crumbled up note that you had shoved into your bag earlier that day. Unfolding the piece of paper you straightened it out and looked at the the message written across it sloppily. 

"See you later tonight, lovely~"

Just the sentence itself was enough to send shivers down your spine. This wasn't the first time you received a note like this. Everyday after every class you'd find one inside your locker, crumpled up from having been jabbed through the slots of your locker. The first few were kind of sweet and for awhile you believed that one of the boys from your school was giving them to you. That thought was quickly dashed away when you received the tenth note that was splattered in strange stains and a very uncomfortable message. 

You doubt one of the boys in your school would ever wish to devour a girl's body so that she could never be apart from them. You've shown a few of your friends and they brushed it off as a joke and with your parents, they were still arguing for the police to do something. It was strange how the only DNA ever found of these notes were your own. Your stared at the note some more, silently reminding yourself that you had locked all the doors and windows once you had gotten home. Gently crumpling the piece of paper back up, you threw it towards your waste basket and smiled a little in victory when it made it in. 

You found yourself relaxing as you flopped back  onto the floor, to lazy to get up and crawled back onto your bed. As you listened to the sweet sound of [Your Favorite Song] playing in the background, you found your eyes drooping as you were ready to fall asleep. You jolted upwards when you heard a loud 'thump' come from the kitchen. You furrowed your brows, staring at your bedroom door as you waited to hear another sound. Slowly standing up you inched towards your closet and pulled it open, reaching inside to pull out a worn out wooden baseball bat. 

Its been years since you've used this thing, having only used it when you were younger and more energized and excited to be outside. But, nowadays you found you liked staying inside watching random shows and listening to music only going out when your friends invited you to tag along with them. Straightening yourself out, you held the bat tightly in your grasp as you walked over to your bedroom door and gently pulled it opened. Taking a small step out into the dark hallway, you made your way towards the staircase. Glad that your socks quieted the sound of your feet. 

Heading down the stairs and peeking into the kitchen, you reached over and quickly flipped on the light switch. You blinked your eyes and loosen your grip on the bat when you saw that it was only your cat sitting on the counter. They had knocked over an empty plastic cup that you had left on the counter after having a drink of water once you got home. "You scared the hell out of me, [Cat's Name]" you mumbled as you smiled at the feline. You tilted your head when you saw that your cat's eyes were not really focused on you, but behind you. 

Before you could look back, you yelped and dropped the bat in your hands, letting it clattered onto the floor as arms wrapped tightly around you. Your heart started to beat a million miles a minute as your eyes widen and you began to struggle. "What the..." you trailed off and shivered when you felt something wet and slick lick up the side of your neck. Soon followed by the feeling of warm breath being blown onto your skin as well. 

"I told you I'd be coming, love" you heard a soothing voice whisper in your ear that made your heart skip a beat before sinking in dreaded fear as a lump formed in your throat. You swallowed thickly at the stranger's voice as you tried to struggle out of his grip. With how strong their arms felt around you, it was easy to tell they were male. They tightened their grip on you as they gave a light nip at your flesh. You gave a silent gasp as at how sharp the tip of their teeth felt. "You smell ravishing, my dear" the man purred.

You blushed, finding yourself becoming embarrassed and more frightened by the minute. You didn't even know the guy and yet he gave away who he was the minute he wrapped his arms around you. You gave a loud grunt when you felt a searing pain rip through your neck all of a sudden as well of a warm liquid seeping down and soaking your shirt. "Taste delicious as well, I'll be sure to take my time with you. Don't worry love, it will all be worth it because we'll be with one another forever" you heard him whisper as he dragged his tongue across the new found wounds while smirking. 

Your body grew tense as you felt your lips twitch downwards while tears started to build up in the corner of your eyes. Before long you moaned in agonizing pain when you felt something strike the back of your head as your vision started to blur before the world around you went black.
