Chapter 1
Niall's POV
I stood at the side of the bank gazing up at the fireworks, they calmed me down. The fireworks were just so beautiful, and I didn't want to look away.
The fireworks were my favorite part of the carnival.
Once they finished, I headed back to my apartment so I could wake up early for work. I started to head back when all of a sudden I felt like someone was watching me.
As I walked pass the alley, I turned around to see a man following me. I stopped to look at the man to see that he was still walking towards me, that's when I turned around and started to run.
I ran as fast as my legs could go, until I felt a strong pair of arms grab my waist and pull me towards the alley. I started screaming and kicking because I didn't know what was going to happen next, "Shh, it is going to be okay," the man whispered softly in my ear, sending chills through my body.
He placed a hand over my mouth and pinned me against the wall.
A tear slipped from my eye.
