"She's going to blow her gasket when she finds out," a voice hissed out.

"Well you better shut your trap then or she will wake up."

"You know you wouldn't be risking her ire if you just did your homework in the summer, as we were supposed to do."

"It isn't my fault that the teachers thought it was a good idea to assign a a whole lot of homework for the summer!" came the indignant reply. "You know it's called summer for a reason."

"It really wasn't that much you know," a exasperated sigh came. "If you'd just stop procrastinating then you wouldn't be cramming last minute. Or in this case, copying our homeworks last minute."

"Oh come on, I'm not even copying it word for word, I'm paraphrasing."

"Sure you are."

A sound of shuffling then silence accompanied by the sound of the quill scratching the surface of a parchment.

"What does this mean? I can't understand your chicken scratch."

"Then don't copy it! I'm not the one forcing you to copy my homework!"

"Ugh," Eliana Fawley's figure straightened up, rubbing her eyes. "What is all this racket about?"

"Well, someone didn't do her homework during summer." Elizabeth Sanders, one of Eliana's close friends said, sneering at Lia who was still frantically copying away for her homework.

"I told you, it's called summer for a reason! That means it should be illegal to do homework!" Lia screamed out in frustration before turning to Eliana. "What about you Ana? Have you done yours yet? You certainly look like you haven't done it yet."

"Wha-?" Eliana yawned, stretching her arms above her head. "What do you mean?"

"You look a little..."Elizabeth trailed off.

"Out of it? Like she hasn't slept? Or haggard as hell?" Lia suggested, laughing when Eliana made a face about her suggestions.

"No. I was going to say stressed," Elizabeth turned to Eliana. "So... why do you look like that? Is there any problem?"

"No. Everything's fine. Just a bit tired since I had to patrol around the train earlier, then there's last night. With Leo jumping around I didn't get any sleep at all! I had to finish all my remaining homeworks last night with my brother making such a racket." Eliana slumped down at her seat, yawning.

"Well, I guess you need your sleep. Why don't you nap for a while then? Don't worry, I won't let Lia copy off of your homework. We're going to go and see the trolley lady," Elizabeth stood up, opened the compartment door then promptly dragged Lia outside. "We'll see you later!"

"Wait. Wait! I need to finish my homework!"

Left alone, Eliana shook her head at her friend's antics. Despite feeling tired but nonetheless wide awake, she then pulled out her copy of Standard Book of Spells Grade 5 and started reading, eating the sandwiches that her mother packed for her.

Eliana's family, the Fawley family, are a pure-blooded wizarding family and a known member of the "Sacred Twenty-Eight". Eliana's mother, Reyna Fawley, works as a Auror in the Ministry of Magic while her father, Yun-Seong Fawley works as a Healer in St. Mungo's and her little brother, Leo Fawley is starting his first year this year.
