Laying in the grass; the sun harshly hitting my skin I was content with the world. Everything felt like it was in it's place. My arm slung across my eyes I could've fallen asleep if it hadn't been for Kenzie's music playing through her phone.

The grass started tickling the exsposed skin at my hip irritating me. Groaning I flipped over onto my stomach. My head rested in the crook of my arms, my eyes facing the trees. It was so shady over there, it would be perfect for my nap. Too bad I couldn't move.

Michelle had already tried to get me to move over there with her. I had grumpily told her that it was tick season, which it wasn't. She had walked away really fast after that. I don't think she'll be going into the trees for awhile.

The shadows shifted, and for a second I thought I had gone insane at last. Then Habitha walked out. I really should stop watching so many horror movies. I closed my eyes and tried to go back to sleep. But the sun still felt like it was burning my skin.

It wasn't completly an un-pleasant feeling, but it did borderline on painful. We'd had a lot of heat spans this year.

Abigail walked up beside me and just stood there for about a second. Then she walked away, which was kinda creepy. I slowly opened my eyes up just a crack, but nothing was there except the trees.

Except, wait, was that? There was a sneaker showing through the trees. It couldn't be any of the other cheerleaders because we all had plain white sneakers we had to wear to practice. This one had blue striped going down it. Then the shadows shifted and the sneaker was gone. Maybe I am insane like my mother says.

I closed my eyes again and just relaxed. It may not sound like it but painting a football Sign for all the boys to run through is actually a pretty tough job. Not to mention that this sign is twice the size of all of our old posters. Right now we had just finished painting it and were waiting on it to dry to see how it had turned out.

We had a game tomorrow. We usually don't have games on Tuesdays but the Coach had come to the office to tell the secretary about the change of plans while I was on office-runner duty. It had confused even our coach at first but then we just accepted it. Damn, when I get home I'm going to have to look all over the place to find my spankies.

I had took them off carelessly after last Thursdays game and now had no idea where they were. Not smart Kallie, not smart at all. I lose things entirely too often. Like every thing I touch ends up getting lost at some point. Well, I guess that's just something about me that my future husband would have to put up with. But then I was over a shoulder. A really, really muscular should. Definitely not Michelle's shoulder!

I opened my eyes and saw I was being walked to the woods. And every single other cheerleader was being carried off in another direction in the exact same way. Our coach just stood there looking at us being carried somewhere unknown.

I then noticed that all the kidnappers were wearing football jerseys. Stupid football players! You'd think they'd want cheerleaders cheering for them at all their games. Well I'm just making a guess her, but I'm thinking not many of us are going to want to cheer for these jackasses! I looked down at the kidnapper holding me and, yes of course he was wearing a football jersey too.

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING WITH ME?" I got my voice back and started screaming at them immediatly.

All the kidnapper did was chuckle. And God Bless America I knew that chuckle. I would know that chuckle anywhere. It was Aiden. Oh my fucking god what was Aiden Goldsburg kidnapping me for. Believe me it was a dream of mine, but seriously him actually doing it? Not possible.

I closed my eyes and tried to wake myself up. Although I couldn't tell if it was a dream or a nightmare. But I still felt the slight shaking of Aiden's footsteps. I opened my eyes, slowly this time and stared straight at Aiden's back.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked. I sounded calmer this time. I needed him to think I wold cooperate. Which, by the way I had no intention of doing.

"You need to be quiet." He whispered.

"Why should I be quiet?" I asked loudly.

He swung me around until he was cradling me in his arms like a baby. And believe me, I didn't mind at all. He brought his head down closer to mine.

"You really need to be quiet." His green eyes were tightened and showed no emotion. I was tempted to be loud again just to see what he would do, but I hated to see him un-happy. He was such a care-free person. He was almost never serious. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen him serious.

"Why?" I whispered looking up at from beneath my lashes. He just sighed and cradled me closer to his chest. His rock-hard chest. Wow Kallie you really do get distracted easily.

"What the hell are you doing with her Aiden?" Oh my glorius god it couldn't be him! Please don't let it be him.

"Marcus you are not involved with this." Aiden's voice was cold. His voice was never cold.

Oh no! It really was Marcus. Marcus is an upper level football player.

"Marcus?" I opened my eyes. He was standing in-front of us and he looked scared. Really scared. "What's happening Marcus? He won't tell me." I was actually frightened now. At first I had thought it was a game or a trick to football players were pulling on the cheerleaders, but after seeing the fright in Marcus's eyes I knew it was more than that.

"Stay quiet." His voice, unlike Aiden's, was warm. I listened to him because I knew I could trust him at the moment.

Aiden started to run. He ran farther and farther into the trees until he finally had to stop for breath. I looked around frantically for Marcus. I calmed down when I saw he was right behind us.

"Nice try Goldsburg, but you can do better than that." He smirked at Aiden.

"Damn it Cauldman! Why couldn't you just stay away?" He yelled.

"You mean you actually thought I would let you go with her? You really are dumb."

"It's my job."

"It was supposed to be a trick."

"You know why it isn't for me."

Marcus looked pained, but he also looked relieved.

"Let's get going then."

And with that finality then put me in the backseat of a car that was behind the trees.
