Quinn's POV:

It's the first day of training and I meet up with Clove and Cato, who gives Kane and I small bits of advice. We then met up with our career group, I still cannot believe we were stuck with a weak little girl, who's probably gonna get us all killed...all of the other tributes look so tall and strong there is no way a little girl like that will make it out of here alive.

Brooklyn POV:

As Triton and I entered the training room we could tell everyone was staring at us. I could tell immediately that everyone in the room wanted to kill me. It stayed quiet for some time and then went up to two people who where from the careers. I decided to be the first to introduce myself. "Hi! My names Brooklyn but you can call me Brookie if you want, Triton and I are from district 4, or the Fishing district," I say in the sweetest voice possible. The girl from two, who looks a little older than me finally responds. "Yeah we know that already. What are your strengths and weaknesses? Or are they all weaknesses?" she says with a smirk. "Well actually I'm good when it comes to running and fleeing but I can't do that much to be honest," I say. I shouldn't tell them that I'm not as innocent as I seem. Our group starts to take a look at everyone else at the training center, only to realize we could most likely be able to take them down but the ones I'm actually afraid of are the eighteen year old pair from one.

Quinns POV:

We walk around the training center to see what station we should do first. By the time we finish walking around the last open station is wrestling. I want to see how strong Brooklyn really is and how long she could last in this type of fight. "So, I guess Brooklyn and I will go first on the mat?"As we walk on to the mat we both separate onto different sides of it. Brooklyn was the first to make a move she tried to run towards me but before she even gets close to me she well..... trips on thin air. "Do you need some help up?" I slowly offer her my hand for assistance. "Take my hand or get up your self I want to make sure you're able to fight if we're gonna work together."She takes my hand as I help her up, in a low pitched voice she finally responds with "Thanks, Partner!" I get so irritated I trip her and walk away. "sorry." I walk over to the archery area and pick up a bow with a couple of arrows, I then type in 10 people I want to come attack me and put it at the hard level. Players start to spawn in as lasers glide across the room. One goes down, two are down, as the last hologram spawns in the layers start to get closer as the person is about to jump on me I quickly pull out a arrow and he shatters into particles.

Bookie's POV:

I look around the training center remembering I have to act innocent without showing to much of my skills. Finally I decide to go to the boxing with Triton. We get our gloves on and he gets into a fighting position I let him take the first hit and he knocks me out. I could hear people laughing while everything was going black. That was the end of the first day of training there is one more day before we go into the private training to have the game maker score us from numbers 1 though 12, 12 being the best 1 being the worst. As the next day comes we are sent back to the training center. Quinn asks if I wanted to go and do the rope course with her.  Once I got on, I had realized it was like monkey bars, so I decided to make a slip up and fall. Everyone around me laughed. Once I looked up I realized Quinn was offering me her hand once again for assistance,"Why do you keep helping me?" I ask in a five year old's voice. "You're weak, scrawny, and too innocent and I don't want that to be the reason why I die," Quinn says with brutal honesty. After she helps me up she walks away thats when I realize that Triton is right behind me. "So you ever gonna actually attempt to finish one of the stations?" he asks me with a small smile. "Why would I do that I'm supposed to act like the weakest one here until private training," I say innocently. After leaving Triton, I decide to head off to the camouflage station and I draw a butterfly on my arm and cover my other arm in green paint. It was quite easy playing stupid. After a while, a fairly tall girl with brown hair (who I assume is from twelve) comes up to me and says, "Are you even taking one bit of this thing seriously? Your damn life is at stake and you're painting butterflies on your arm! You're an idiot." The girl walks off as the rest of the tributes glare at me. I hate pretending, but only Triton knows my plan, and it has to stay that way for the time being. The day comes to an end I walk to my hotel room, only to see Quinn standing right in front of the door. "I tried to open the door but It was locked so I decided to wait till you get here. I have a question to ask," Quinn says suddenly. Kind of weird she'd come to my room just to ask me something...."Yeah sure what is it?" I ask kindly. "Why aren't you trying?" she says seriously."What do you mean?" I reply as if I had no idea what she meant. "Never mind forget I said it, have a nice night." And with that, Quinn leaves.

Quinn's POV:

Before I leave the training room, I over hear a conversation with my allies. Their topic was about "Little Brookie". They were talking about how she can't do anything right and that she was going to get us all killed. Even her own district partner, Triton, was agreeing with them. I don't believe Brooke is using her full potential, either that or she is just really stupid. Either way, once the games start Brooke would probably be killed in the bloodbath. But if she survives, I'm just afraid of what the Careers may do to her.
