The lifeboat washed up on the shore. All of it's people in it were asleep, including Jack and Rose. Jack woke up first, screaming. " Rose! Wake up! Were on land!" Rose got up and climbed out. She could see the Statue Of Liberty a little ways away. Jack climbed out and took Rose's hand. They walked out onto the land, ignoring the fact they had no money, and they didn't know the town. They walked deeper into the town of East End. It was as though everything changed. Their were bright, neon signs, and people were talking on small phones. Rose walked up to a man on his cell phone, saying. " sir, what year is it?" the man looked at her with the face of Cal- a much older face. " Rose? Is that you? " he whispered. Then Cal looked behind her and saw Jack. He walked up into Rose's face yelling. " I loved you. I had money, good looks, I had everything at the palm of my hand. And you-" Cal was interrupted by Jack, who pushed Cal out of her face and grabbed Rose's hand. " Come on Rose- let's go ask someone who can help us." Rose turned back to Cal. He was at least seventy. " Jack, why is everyone we know so old?" Jack looked at her. " So we could spend more time together. We this is the year 1982. And I have a surprise for you- it's something that I found floating in the water. It leaves today. We must hurry. " And with that, Jack took Rose's hand and pulled her through the crowds. He found a taxi that was just pulling away. He banged on the windows until the driver opened the door. " where to?" a tired voice said. " OceanFront Airport, please." Jack said. " what's an airport?" Rose asked. Jack put a finger on her lips," it's a suprise...," he said
