Chapter 4: The Date

After Skye told Chase she liked him, she decided to ask him out on a date. "Chase, will you go out with me?" Skye asked. "Yes Skye! Of course I will!" Chase replied. "Great! I know this amazing place on the beach where we can put our paws in the water, have a romantic dinner, and watch all the water birds." Skye said. "Okay. I'll meet you there around 6:30 tonight." Chase said. Skye told him she had to go and get ready, so he went to get ready. Skye's first stop was Mr. Porter's to get some chicken. She told him thanks and ran off to her next stop: The Dog Accessory Store. Once she got there, she went inside. She found this adorable pink dress with purple sparkles on it, and some pink and purple high heels, and she bought them with the money Ryder had given her. Okay. Now she just needed a picnic blanket and some candles. She could find those at the Lookout. Skye ran back to the Lookout and asked Ryder for a picnic blanket and candles. He looked in two drawers and got them. Skye then asked Ryder to help her put on her dress. He did, and then Skye put her high heels on. She ran off towards the beach at 6:15. She set down the picnic blanket and lit the candles. Then, she put out the chicken. She waited 5 minutes and then it was 6:30. She saw Chase walking up the beach towards her in a stunning blue and white tuxedo. "I love your tuxedo Chase." Skye said. "Thanks. I love your dress." Chase said. "Thanks. You want some chicken?" Skye asked. "Sure." Chase said.
