Chapter 2

You stretch out you arms, accidentally hitting something with you arm. That something make a groaning noise and made the bed move.

"Sorry!" You whisper. You grab your phone from the bedside table and you realize that if you didn't get out of bed now, you'd be late for work.

While trying to get out of bed, something grabs onto your arm and pulls you back down onto the bed.

"Stay." Jaebum mumbles into the pillow.

"I have to go to work. Like, now." You say in a rushed tone. You push off his arm and grab some clothes and head into the bathroom.

You shower and get dressed as quick as possible. While looking in the mirror, you notice that you had two small wounds on your neck. You grab your foundation and let out a sigh, and quickly cover it up.

When you get out of the bathroom, Jaebum was sitting on the edge of the bed. His eyes were squinting, and sleep was still visible on his face. You walk up to hi and push his shoulders so he's laying down again.

"Just go to sleep." He shakes his head no.

"I'll walk you to your job," He answers. "For your safety." He slowly sits back up.

You let out a sigh and push him back down again. "I'll be fine." You answer and grab your backpack and fill it with your wallet, a light jacket, your phone and the spare key Jaebum gave you.

And you were off.

While walking to the cafe you worked at, you looked around at your surroundings. Spring was coming and the cherry blossoms were out.

The playground was empty and the surrounding area was filled with adults.

But while you were doing this, you didn't notice that someone was following you.

Jaebum had decided to follow even though he was still feeling a bit tired, but he wanted to make sure the accident that happened last night doesn't happen again.

While you were observing your surroundings, he was observing you. He noticed that when you walk you hold on to the straps of you backpack and tend to play around with the cracks in the sidewalk.

After many minutes of walking and following, you finally made it to the cafe. You were right on time!

"Anneonghaseyo Eomoni!" You say to the owner of the cafe, when you get behind the counter.

"Oh! Annyeong Seolhyun. Do you mind putting all of the chair down from the tables. But hurry. We'll be opening soon!" You nod and start to do the job you were assigned.

As soon as the door opened to the public, Jaebum entered along with many other people who wanted to start off their day with some coffee.

Jaebum took a seat way in the back of the cafe and just watched you work from afar.

After about an hour of sitting around, Jaebum got a text from Jinyoung.

Where are you hyung?

At xxxx cafe

Mmm. Okay. See you later.

What do you mean?

Jaebum waited for the reply but it never came. He chose to ignore it and just continued to sit around.

Moments later a group of boys entered the cafe. You recognized their faces.

Mark looked over to you, while the rest were looking within the tables. He smiles at you, which you return and follows everyone else. You watch them walk over to a table which you now realize had Jaebum sitting in.
