Artie wheeled out of his first period classroom and tried to make his way into the hallway without being trampled. His neck was starting to hurt from having to look up at people so much. He saw a flash of jet black hair with blue streaks and suddenly realized it was Tina. Tina is one of the only true friends that Artie has. They both share loves of music, art, and literature, which Artie enjoys talking about with her. Artie sped up his pace and made it to Tina in record time.
"Hey, Tina!"
"Hi," she replied in her shy, quiet voice of hers. Artie thought that Tina was a really great person but she was really quiet and awkward around others.
"How was your first period class?" Artie asked.
"The usual. Biology is so boring and we were assigned more homework than usual." Tina replied.
Artie thought about offering to help her, but he didn't want her to think that he just wanted to make out with her and not do any work. Hopefully Tina knew that he wasn't that type of guy, like Noah Puckerman, but its better to be safe than sorry! Just then, Puck walked down the hall with his usual swagger, and hoardes of girls flocked towards him like fans following a superstar.
Artie decided to take a chance and ask Tina to do homework with him at his house.
"She would never say no: she's too nice!" Artie thought as he debated his decision.
Before Artie realized what he was doing, his mouth was open and words were tumbling out.
"Do you need help? I need help studying for Spanish and I know you're really good at it so..."
Tina stopped him, "Sure, I'd love it! When would you like to work?"
"How about tonight at my house?"
"Sounds good," Tina replied.
As Artie wheeled away, a huge smile broke out on his face. TINA!!!! WAS COMING!!!! TO HIS HOUSE!!!! Sure, it wasn't a date, but who cares? It was good enough for him, and maybe this would lead to more...
