“you’re very much welcome. Drop by anytime. Bring Miss Jung with you as well, and I’ll give you a treat, since you’re already a regular here,” putting down the tea cup we once polished.
“do I get a coupon for that?” giving a warm smile to the aged man, Tiffany fixed her things and was preparing to leave. She noticed that Taeyeon was looking up into something besides the water dispenser.
“Watsu lookin at?”
“is this you by any chance?” pointing her index finger into a short haired-girl wearing a pink shirt and a pink skirt, hair that looks like a mushroom and was carrying a pink bag.
“what?! Where?!” Tiffany then pulled Taeyeon’s blouse and take a closer look into the picture.
“OH MY GOSH! Mister! What is my picture doing here? And why didn’t I know about this before?!” raising her voice making the other customers looked at her and silently laugh by themselves.
“HAHA, Miss Jung asked me to put it there, so other customers will see it.” Giving Tiffany a thumbs up, the girl’s face form a pink blush between her two cheeks. Afraid of being seen embarrassed, she hid herself into Taeyeon’s back.
Tiffany, pulled Taeyeon’s blouse signalling the shorter girl to go into the car, but the girl gave out a smirk and face the older man.
“mister, may I ask something?”
“what is it, miss kim?” polishing another glass, he looks at the same direction Taeyeon is looking.
“is this one Jessica?” pointing her index finger in the girl besides Tiffany who’s face is crimson red.
“yes, that one is Jessica, they’ve been together for like 14 years now, if I got that right or 15.”
“I see, thanks mister. We’ll be going then. Thanks for that delicious treat.” Taeyeon bid farewell into the older man who’s giving them a calming smile.
Walking straight to the car, Taeyeon noticed that Tiffany’s still has her hands in her blouse hiding her face into the shorter girl.
“you know, you can’t hide your face into my body, remember I’m shorter than you, so it’s useless, and anyway, we’re already out of the café so it’s alright to show of your face now. No need to be embarrass.” Fishing out her car keys, she unlocked the doors of her car, and open the door for Tiffany who’s still covering her face.
As they hit the road once again, Taeyeon keeps on stealing glances at Tiffany who is now regaining her composure. Taeyeon let out a smile only her can see.
“I’m sorry,” the taller girl mumbled.
“what? Did you say something, Tiffany?” the shorter girl face the taller girl.
“I said I’m sorry. I look horrible on that one, I hate Jessi!” the shorter girl let out a chuckled before stopping the car besides a tree.
The shade perfectly hid their spot from the sunlight and it gives a warm feeling. Taeyeon sits on the ground feeling the warmth of the grass that touches her legs. Winds coming from left to right, giving a tranquil feeling to the body, Taeyeon suddenly feels sleepy. Tiffany saw this act and let out a warm smile to the shorter girl’s actions.
“aren’t you joining me?”
“oh no, I’m fine in the car’s seat, I’ll just open the door.” Feeling the same wind, Tiffany fished out her music sheets, her mp3 and her earphones, she started humming the lyrics..
“mmmm mmmm mm mmmm,” with closed eyes, Tiffany sings the song in her mind, feeling the message of the lyrics, it gives Tiffany peace and harmony.
