It’s been a week since Yuri’s accident; still the girl hasn’t regained her consciousness. It’s also been a week since Jessica stops attending school. Her flawless grades drops and she also misses some of her school activities and exams, too. Taeyeon and Tiffany visit the hospital after their school hours. Tiffany has been bringing Jessica some change of clothes for her to use and she also help Jessica catch up to their lessons but that doesn’t seem to matter to the girl. All she cares about is the girl sleeping next to her to open up her eyes.
“Jess, why won’t you come to school? Our professors have been asking for you.” Tiffany said to Jessica.
“Tiff, if you were on my case, would you still dare to go to school?” Jessica replied in a husky voice.
Tiffany couldn’t say a word after hearing Jessica’s statement. What will she do if she was on her place? Tiffany then thought to herself. Taeyeon who is sitting to a chair from across the room also hear Jessica’s statement and pause.
“I’m sorry Tiff,”
“No, it’s alright Jess, I’m sorry too. I hate myself for being your best friend when I don’t even consider how you feel,” Tiffany’s tear started escaping her eyes. Jessica wipe those tears away pulling Tiffany to her arms.
“I’m sorry Tiff, I just don’t know what to do anymore. What if she doesn’t open up her eyes? What if she chooses to stay like that? I don’t know what will happen.” Jessica couldn’t help but cry, all she wanted is to see and hear the girl that once teases her, the one who always irritates her.
“I know Jess, let’s just pray ok? Pray for her to be alright.” Tiffany then kissed Jessica forehead and tighten their hug.
“Jessica,” Taeyeon then spoke up.
“Taeyeon?”
“let say, Yuri has woken up. What will you do next?” Taeyeon seriously asked Jessica who was now silent.
*what will I do next? I don’t know, I haven’t thought about it, but one thing is for sure,* Jessica then bluntly say to Taeyeon,
“I’ll knock off all the lights that she could see when she wokes up, I’ll smack her in her face for her to feel the pain I’m feeling right now.”
Taeyeon just smiled at Jessica.
“Why are you smiling? You’re freaking me out,” Jessica asked irritated.
“nothing. You’re very much lucky, you know that Jung Jessica. Keep that attitude of yours. It will help you.” Without any more words, Taeyeon exited the room.
*good for you Yuri. Better wake up, or she’s gonna kill you* Taeyeon just smiled on her own as she walk away to the room.
“What was that about?”
Tiffany just shrugged not knowing what Taeyeon mean. She decided to follow her. Jessica gave her a thumbs up.
“I guess, it’s us again.” Jessica then move closer to Yuri.
Meanwhile, at the cafeteria.
“YAH! KIM TAEYEON!”
“Hmmm? What is it now Tiffany?” Taeyeon then slot a coin in the vending machine and press the button of the item.
“what was that you told Jessi, an advice?” Tiffany was confused.
*sharp mind* Taeyeon thought as she open her junkfood.
“you could say I was giving her an advice. It’s for her own good anyway. She should know her true feelings towards my stupid best friend or else, everything will turn into nothing.” Taeyeon replied to Tiffany.
“I still don’t understand what you mean,” Tiffany scratch the back of her head.
*I guess she’s not that sharp* Taeyeon thought.
“no need for you to understand. You’re not a 3rd wheel right? So stop asking.”
*3rd wheel? What?* Tiffany thought to herself as she follows Taeyeon.
Back at Yuri’s room.
“I swear, KWON YURI. If you open your eyes , I’m gonna kill you.” Jessica tighten her grip into Yuri’s hand. She wishes for her tears to escape her now swollen eyes but they dried out since she’s been crying a lot. All she can do know is bury herself to the bed even more. She then felt something moved.
“W-what?” Jessica then looks up to Yuri. Scanning Yuri’s body for any changes, she then saw Yuri’s right hand move.
“Y-Yuri?” Jessica’s voice is now trembling, not believing what she’s seeing. Yuri is slowly regaining her senses.
“uh, mm. uhmm.”
“Y-Yuri?!” Jessica then bend over to hear what the latter was saying.
“w-what d-did y-you s-say?” Yuri said in a weak voice.
“what d-do you mean, what I say? The heck KWON YURI!?” Jessica is now starting to become irritate.
“i-I’m s-sorry” Jessica stops at her cue. Hearing those words from Yuri made her heart ache. What is this feeling? It hurts, a little. She thought to herself as she looks at the girl lying in the bed.
“sorry for what?”
“for e-evrythin, for m-makin y-you w-worry and f-for m-makin you c-cry” Yuri managed to say the words she wanted to say to Jessica. On the other hand, Jessica couldn’t say a word. She was speechless. She tried opening her mouth but no words are coming out.
Taeyeon and Tiffany had returned and was surprised to see Yuri had her senses back.
“Hey you idiot, are you feeling alright now?” Taeyeon asked.
“haha, I am, just a bit tired that’s all. Sorry for makin you worry guys.” Yuri let out a weak smile.
“WAAAAAA!!! YURI!!!!!!!! DON’T LEAVE US!!!!!!” Jongyhun then blast the door out, he then stop when he saw Yuri.
“YURI!? WHY ARE YOU ALIVE?! I THOUGHT YOU’RE…” Onew then smack his head.
“YAH! WHY DID YOU DO THAT?! THAT HURTS YOU KNOW!” Jongyhun whined due to the fact that it really hurt.
“Stop yelling, we’re at the hospital. Also, I didn’t say that she’s dead you moron.”
“BUT YOU SAID!”
“I DIDN’T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT DYING!”
The four girls started laughing.
“Hey, I’m alright now guys. No worries.”
“WAAAAA! YURI!! LEMME HUG YOUUUU!” Jessica then block his way.
“What? hey move woman, I want to hug her.” Jongyhun said.
“What if I say no?” raising a voice at Jongyhun.
“Jongyhun, better not argue with her.” Taeyeon advised him giving her a wave.
“Yeah, Jongyhun Better not.” Tiffany said.
Jongyhun then looks at Jessica who’s eyes stares at him like cold ice. Jongyhun decided not to do it.
“Whatever.”
“haha, sorry about that Jong.” Yuri then laughs.
“Nah, it’s fine Yul. I’ll get my chance,” Jongyhun then winked,
“In your dreams young man.” The four looks at her confusingly.
“S-sica?” Yuri said.
“Not after I’m done dealing with you” Jessica gave Yuri an evil glare. Yuri then just smiled.
“Guys, we just drop by to see how Yuri’s doing, we have a meeting to attend to. I guess we don’t need to worry anymore, thanks for looking after her, I’ll see you then” Taeyeon just nodded giving Onew her thanks as well.
“I guess, everything is back to normal?” Taeyeon then looks at the 3 girls. All nodded at once. She then smiled at them. She looks at Tiffany’s eyes and smile even more. Tiffany then give her a smile in return.
