"Will you please hand me the sugar, Molly?" asked Layla.
"Sure."
"Thanks." Layla poured in 3 and a half cups of what Molly gave her and then the flour, salt, and baking soda. She stirred it together and Trinity put the mixtures into the cupcake pan. After 2 hours of baking the batches of cupcakes, they were ready to be frosted.
"Let's see. So there is seven of us here today, and 48 cupcakes to frost, Since there is so many cupcakes and only a half hour until the cupcakes need to be at the party for Sally's party we can each frost.......6." exclaimed Nadia.
"Great idea!" Carie cheered. Nadia was the brains of the group. Everyone had a main job they were good at. Layla was good at everything though.
Casie was really good at mixing the ingredients. She mixed it until the batter was perfectly done and tasted delicious! Molly could put the perfect amount of batter in the cups and take it it out at the right time so the cupcake would come out perfectly round. Akeara put filling in them Kaden sometimes made, them frosted them beautifully in the perfect shape for Trinity and Nadia to top it off with the best decorations they could find and make. Then Carie would usually take them to wherever they needed to drop the cupcakes off to.Together they made the perfect team!
Carie, Layla, and Molly drove to Sally's 6th birthday party and dropped off the cupcakes after they frosted them.
"I love them! I love them!" yelled Sally. Layla smiled.
"They look kind of weird. Are you sure they are supposed to look like that?" asked her mother.
"Oh don't worry, they will taste delicious!" Layla exclaimed.
"Alright, here you go!" the mother said as she handed them $50.00.
"Thank you!" Layla exclaimed. When they got back back to the shop they closed up the shop.
"When you were gone, we got another order. Someone needs 200 cupcakes for a party by Friday. Half chocolate with vanilla frosting rainbow sprinkles and vice versa. And since it's over 100 cupcakes, they get it half off so that's $100.00." Nadia exclaimed.
"Great! We can start that tomorrow." replied Layla.

Tomorrow morning at 9:00 they started making the batter for the vanilla cupcakes when they got a call. Nadia answered it.
"What did they need?" asked Layla. "The people that wanted 200 cupcakes canceled, they got someone else to do it for less money!" Nadia answered.
"That's weird!" exclaimed Layla.
"(gasp)!" Akeara gasped.
"What!" everyone asked.
"We got a some bad reviews on the website. The mother of that six year old gave us a bad review. She said the cupcakes tasted like garbage!" Akeara replied.
"Oh no! i bet i handed you the wrong thing when you asked for the sugar!" Molly exclaimed.
"Me too." Layla said.
"But they said they got someone else to do it. That means there is a new bakery in town taking our customers, and I'm going to find out who!"
