I didn't understand how to present a Janazah prayer at this age because it was my first one that I ever attended. So I sat outside the masjid. My dads closest friend from middle school walked up to me, I called him my uncle , uncle Dave. He sits next to me and says " you know asiyah your a really strong girl , and I felt so bad watching you cry yesterday. You just have to make your dad proud as of now. Go sit next to your mother, I love you." I went in to sit next to my mom and she was just crying so badly my heart just felt as though it disappeared because I felt empty.
So prayer is over everyone is preparing to eat and me and my mom walks outside , I follow her. My sister , brother and I teachers are here. I was shocked but glad.
Me and my are talking and she says to me " that isn't fair they allowed your aunt miah to see the body and not me , I said I agree we didn't even get to see the cascet." So we walk over to the car where his cascet is and my mom starts crying even more then she was before. She had put on eyeliner and it was running so it reminded me of a scary movie again.
Some Muslim brother we didn't even know comes over to us and says you have to back up and they moved the car my mom was chasing it literally crying. It just felt as though my family was spreading apart because my dad was the glue that kept us together.
