(Warriors) A Twisted Path (ON HOLD)

Dazzling rays of sun shone through the roof of the nursery. A young queen with soft cream fur and brilliant emerald eyes woke and gave her pelt a shake. It was a wonderful greenleaf, and all the cats had full bellies and the clans had moons of peace together in harmony. The cream-furred queen looked down and saw her belly was bulging with kits, it wasn't long before they were born.

     Soon afterwards, the fern tunnel shook and in came a tom with dark brown fur and the same emerald eyes as the queen came in holding a plump vole.
     "Oh, hello Dawnheart. I just came to have some prey with you," he meowed formally around the vole. He smiled sweetly at Dawnheart, the same smile that made her fall in love with him.
     "How sweet of you, Snaketail," she purred. "I'd love to share with you. How about we go next to the thorn bush, just the two of us?"
     Snaketail nodded and purred afterwards, "Okay then. Let's go."

     The ThunderClan camp was busy, cats were padding out the thorn tunnel with patrols, the apprentices were talking with their mentors, and the leader, Ivystar, was perched on top of Highrock. Skirting around the edge of the camp, Snaketail and Dawnheart made it to the thorn bush. It was their special spot, they would always meet there as apprentices and always ate prey here.
     Once they got there, they laid down and started to share the vole together in silence. When their meal was finished, Snaketail got up and meowed, "I have to go in a hunting patrol later with Snowrush and Stormflight. See you later." Snaketail twined his tail with hers for a moment and set off to join his hunting partners.

     Suddenly, a fear scent and the terrifying smell of blood rushed into camp, and a young ginger apprentice rushed through the thorn tunnel. She was badly hurt, a deep gash was down her flank, and she was practically blinded in one eye. She stammered for a moment, then came to her senses and said a terrifying thing,

     "ShadowClan is attacking! Our patrol is losing the fight!"
