"ShadowClan is attacking! Our patrol is losing the fight!"
Everyone stopped to stare at the apprentice, and Ivystar immediately leaped up on to the Highrock and began assigning cats to the battle patrol. "Snowrush, Snaketail, Leafbreeze, and Robinpaw, go help the patrol. Everyone else, be on your guard and fortify the camp."
At the sound of this, everyone was rushing to the middle of the clearing, planning and organizing their plan of attack. Snaketail turned and faced Dawnheart, meowing, "You heard her. Gotta go." He gave her a quick lick behind the ear, and hurried to join the patrol filing through the thorn tunnel.
"Be careful!" Dawnheart yelled to him, and he acknowledged her with a wave of his tail before he disappeared thorugh the thorn tunnel.
By this time the ginger apprentice was slumped down on her side, shivering and laying in a growing pool of blood. The medicine cat, Petalwing, a beautiful tabby she-cat, hurried to the apprentice with a bundle of cobwebs and marigold in her jaws and started working. Dawnheart watched intently- she always wanted to know what it was like to be a medicine cat, but in the end chose to be a warrior.
Soon after, Petalwing mewed to Dawnheart, "Hey Dawnheart, can you get some soaked moss for me? There should be some in my den." Then she quickly turned back to her patient, chewing up poultices and applying it to the nasty wound.
Dawnheart turned to the medicine den and padded into it, sniffing around for the moss until she found it in a small pile in the corner. She soaked it in the medicine cat's den's trademark pool of water and hurried outside to give it to the medicine cat. The apprentice wasn't bleeding anymore, and her side was essentially turned white with cobwebs. Petalwing gratefully took the moist moss and put it up to the apprentice's muzzle, gently soothing her while saying "Come on Flamepaw. Drink up."
While she was trying to coax the apprentice into drinking the water, Dawnheart looked into the forest and thought, I hope the patrol is doing fine.******
Snaketail rushed through the forest with the rest of his patrol towards the ShadowClan border, steeling for a fight. After the sudden news that Flamepaw brought, the clan had been in distress and were rushing to defend the border. When Snaketail got there, it was a horrendous sight. Cats were slumped down against trees, hopefully knocked unconscious and not the alternative, hisses and growling were everywhere, and blood streaked the ground and bushes. Suddenly he felt a weight crash into him from the side and bowl him over. He found himself fighting against a dark ginger tom with glowing amber eyes. Thankfully, he was weakened already from his previous wounds, and Snaketail easily sent him flying over the border with a few swipes and a strong kick.
A yowl from Leafbreeze sent him over to the she-cat, who was fighting two warriors at the same time and was being beaten into the ground. Once again, their victims were chased over the border with a commanding hiss.
When the final ShadowClan warrior was being chased out, they growled menacingly before they ran off, "This isn't over, ThunderClan. We will have this territory."
"Oh yeah? Well if you can't beat us this time, you can never beat us," he meowed cheekily.
Then the patrol turned and looked at the carnage.___
Ok then guys, looks like I'm done. Tune in next time for the next Chapter! (hopefully you won't have to wait a month for it!)
P.S. I made the first part late at night and I kinda rushed at the end to get it done so I can do my homework, but at least you have them, right?
