It didn't take long for him to realize how he felt for the girl. He admitted to himself. He liked her. She gave him inspiration and excitement, giving him something to look forward to everyday.
It didn't take long for her to realize how she felt for him too. From the start, she crushed on the boy. His light skin and his brown hair contrasted from the other kids on the street. She always admired his looks and his personality.
She remembered the day she met him. The way his grin stretched far throughout his face after she gave him that bracelet. The way he looked lonely and sad by himself on the bench. She smiled as she pictured the sad five year old he was ten years ago.
"He was so cute." she thought to herself. She paused and looked at the framed picture of them two sitting on her desk. "He still is." she chuckled at herself as she thought about his physical appearance. His unique characteristics really made him more appealing. She knew that she was lucky to be friends with him.
"Richelle!" a familiar voice brought her back to her senses as she stood up from her desk and looked out her window. She smiled to the sight as she looked down to him.
"Hi." was his greeting. Simple, yet sincere. She smiled wider as she turned around and rushed outside.
She opened the gate, revealing him. She admired the structure of his face. How well it was made and how perfect it was.
He did likewise, admiring her simplicity and the beauty she had. Both knew that each had something for one another. As a shy person, Luca would never have the guts to ask out a girl, nor would he want to ruin a perfect friendship. But he decided that she was worth taking a risk.
"Richelle, I like you." the words slipped out off his mouth, causing her to blush at his words. He automatically regretted confessing at this time. Thoughts began to fill her mind. "Does he mean it? Is he for real?" she stared at him, blank as he stared at her back.
Silence filled the gap in between them as they stood still, motionless.
That gap was closed by Richelle, causing their lips to smack together. His eyes dropped as they made physical contact. She pulled away quickly and bursted into a smile as she stared at him.
"I think I like you too." she said, with a smile.
"So are we..?" She simply nodded her head as she grinned. A grin too formed on his face.
The same grin he made when they first met.
