A few characters in the DC universe have the name Red Hood. But, in honor of the Batman V. Superman movie coming out soon, we are doing Jason Todd, one of the old robins, and the present Red Hood.
Here is his origins (Just like many heroes and villains, he has different origins, but here is one of them): Jason Todd was murdered by the original Red Hood (Joker). When Superboy-Prime altered reality, Jason Todd returned from the grave. Jason was enraged that Batman didn't avenge him, so he locates the Joker and beats him up. Then he steals Joker's Red Hood outfit, becoming the second Red Hood. Jason Todd began to continue "save the city" but now he used fear and aggression. This caused Batman to believe that he was a villain, so Batman and Jason Todd became kinda enemies...
Before Jason was a robin, he was the son of a circus acrobat. His parents died however to a criminal (Killer Croc), later he was adopted by Bruce Wayne, and that is when it all started.
