Max's POV
I entered Professor. Carter's room and immediately spotted Becca sitting down in the second row with of course Charlotte.
"Hey gummy." I said after sitting in the seat behind Becca.
"Hey what's up." I heard her reply.
"I stopped by your house yesterday but you wasn't there."
"Oh yeah I visited my uh...my shrink?"
"Your shrink? Come on gummy I know when you're lying."
Before anything could be said Professor. Carter walked in with the infamous black leather briefcase. Why does he continue to walk around with that thing. It's not like he's a lawyer.
"Good afternoon class!"
Everybody said it back and with that class continued.
"It's the third week of class, you know what that means?"
When no one answered Professor. Carter continued.
"It means group projects!!!"
Everyone groaned including me.
"Now I want you all to break up into groups of three and start to discuss how you will present all the bones of the human body. Be creative, I want color ,and I want it to be obvious you did your research. Surprise me."
Everyone moved to who they want to work with.
"So it's us three?" I asked.
"Oh I'm sorry we asked Brendan if he would like to work with us, sorry Max." Becca said.
I tried not to show my disappointment.
"It's alright."
As soon as I said that both Becca and Charlotte started to laugh.
"What's funny?" I asked confused.
"We were only playing with you bear.."
"Well you got me." I said.
I couldn't help but laugh along with them.

James POV
Everyone parted into groups but of course my eyes landed on Becs.
It was obvious that she would choose Charlie to work with her but I was not expecting her to work with Max. Let me be blunt for a moment.
I DO NOT LIKE NOR DO I TRUST MAX GEORGE!
"Oh Max, Tom only has Nathan as a partner would you mind joining them. When Siva gets here he could work with the girls.
"Oh it's okay professor I'll work with them." Georgina said.
Georgina is one of those girls who are classified as a flirt. She might think she was helping me but she didn't. Thanks a lot Georgina! Not.
